- If anyone who has ever lived or visited Atlanta might have seen the wolfman, no not the radio DJ but the store owner. Sadly Wolfman (Doyle Rodgers) died back in Jan. of 2004. here is just a couple of adverts for Gallery Furniture with the Wolfman and Donna! (oh and ask for the Wolfman!)
My radio show website:

The fact that this is available to watch makes my heart glow. Memmmmmoriesssss.
Petition to name it "Heartsfield-Jackson-Wolfman International Airport."
I don't know that I'll ever forget these commercials, especially the music.
Iconic stuff.
The music always got stuck in my head.
You from the real Atlanta if you know about this commercial
It's cool knowing everyone in the comments either lived or visited Atlanta while this was aired
Man, I remember being 7 years old, and my Grandad and I drove all the way from Acworth to go get a bed they had on sale. I remember I kept asking where the Wolfman was and they said he was eating lunch, and before we left I got to meet the Wolfman as he came back. Jezz thats been 23 years!
Dude_piston88 You got to meet the Wolfmannnnn that is awesome!!! In 1995 when I was 6 I got to meet Ken Cook at my school and I had the biggest crush on him🤭🤭☺️💕💕💕hahaha that’s actually why I’m here I was looking for Ken😅
Oml just watched crazy eyes granny, I don't even know what to say 🤣
Awesome story. I remember seeing these commercials growing up. He seemed like such a nice guy
@@evamz9584 awesome I never got a chance to meet the Wolfman
I can’t believe you got to meet the Wolfman!! That’s so awesome! RIP Wolfman
Whenever one of these commercials was new, I would always root for the quote “Ask for Wolfman” because I was a little kid who really loved the fact that he look like the Wolfman. If the commercial said “ask for Donna“ I would always get mad, thinking that the Wolfman had lost lol! Oh to be 10 years old again.
I usually loathe stuff from childhood but these commercials give me comfort. I love the background music. It brings back happy vibes.
I remember these commercials from when I lived in Georgia. It takes me back.
This makes me feel like a kid again.
Wow I remember this commercial when I was a kid 😂 I use to beg my parents to take me to see Donna and the wolfman wow I'm getting old
Omg, I got to meet the Wolfman when I was little, and I went to school and told everybody. I was cool for about 1 week. I asked for the Wolfman and I received !!

ATL shit forreal Lol. Who remembered Saturday night wrestling on channel 69 with Joe Pedicino and Bonnie Blackstone?
I remember that too! Bonnie is still around on a radio station in Fayetteville, GA but Joe passed away a few years ago
I do! Gallery Furniture commercials would show up on there along with Marietta Dodge dealership ads. Good times
I remember when channel 69 showed music videos. I used to call it the "Poor Man's MTV. Man, those were the days!
Every day I watch TV as a kid one of these ads come up And my sister and me were rushing to the room because the other one called and we would sit there guessing who would get the ask for line.
I always chose Wolfman and she always chose Donna was a great little game we played
Wow...I never gave these commercials a second thought when they were on the air...I have lived my whole life in metro-Atlanta and 95-96 was my 11th grade year in high school...this brings back so many memories...so long ago...who would ever have thought something so inane would bring back so many fond memories...where did the time go... ~sigh~
I remember seeing this ad all the time when I was growing up.

Man flashback to what seemed like never ending summer days... Georgia on mind. It’s crazy for people to understand how country/southern metro Atlanta as a whole was prior to 00s those drawls once seemed normal.
Dont worry man they still are, Atlanta hasnt been completely taken over by out of town hipster douchebags.

He did look like Wolfman Jack but sounded like Kenny Rogers
Atlanta
I somehow recalled the theme as it was playing despite not having heard it for 25 years. Now *that's* market saturation.😮
Boy do I remember these commercials. Use to come on while watching Gordon Solie and WCW Wrestling.

My childhood!
Having lived in College Park for years when I was a kid I saw this commercial all the time but never went to gallery furniture. Then when I took my mom there in 2005 I didn't know that Wolf Man had already died in 2004 because I was on a year long deployment in Iraq at The time
