      @@robertjames6659 No, I don't think so because I watch her youtube channel regularly and she says "like" a lot there too when she is comfortable in her own home. But whatever. I am sure she will grow out of it. I actually say it sometimes too, but I try and catch myself and stop.

    It's not fair for the women. Men get to go to college and still do Elite level gymnastics but the women don't. Why not?

    • @DaniAnn
      @DaniAnn Před 3 lety +8

      You can do college and elite as long as you don’t make money off of your career. That’s apart of all NCAA rules for eligibility for all sports.

      Because women’s gymnastics is far more popular. Women can actually make money. That is why they go pro. Men have nowhere near as many opportunities. Men also hit their peaks later. Gymnastics like figure skating, is a sport where women have the upper hand, in the United States at least.

    Do a shot every time McKayla says "like" and you'll be plastered in less than three minutes.

    Oh hell Nooo !!! MyKayla Skinner is no where near being a top gymnast !! Short, Stocky, Terrible form & not that appealing to watch compared to many other gymnast !!!

      I’m sorry- but is complaining all you people do? MyKayla may not be as polished as other top gymnasts, but she is nowhere near as bad as you’re claiming. All this unrequited hate towards her is completely unnecessary.

    • @omaraa826
      @omaraa826 Před 3 lety +1

      @@fallpetals It's not hate, gymnastics highly depends on lines, genetics and aesthetics, it's a god given gift and that's something she can't control honestly, I praise her for working hard, but I think she would have been way better in a different sport. Gymnastics is the epitome of athleticism & it is not for everyone, period.

      You're such an idiot. MyKayla placed 4th AA in 2016 Oly trials and 5th AA in 2021 at Oly trials, only missing the team by 0.3 and she managed this at age 24 even with a constant ankle problem AND after having been hospitalized with covid. She only didn't make the team because each time the team was chosen they used different selection rules. By 2021's rules she'd have been on the team in 2016 and vice versa. She is world-class.

      @@omaraa826 Yet she's probably 2nd or 3rd vaulter in the world and can probably be in top 15 AA (and probably even more than that) so funny.

      She placed 10th at the olympics in AA during qualifications. and she away walked with a silver medal on vault. This comment didn’t last very long lol. It’s never too late to delete!
