- Informal contractions!
Informal contractions are short forms of some words that people use only in informal spoken English. You should not write informal contractions unless you are copying someone's speech.
Some are given below:
Gimme = give + me
Gonna = going + to
Lemme = let + me
Sorta = sort +of
This is very helpful to understand native English speakers! Thanks a lot 🌹🥰
This isn't how they speak. This is dialect.
@@kirbywaite1586 it IS how they speak in everyday life. Definitely not a dialect.

Omg,i always wondered whta is the "ain, ain't" And when i knew it , i was in shock,but it's really useful in speech, especially if you don't know how to use the "is,are,am,have,has"😮😊
Oh, it's totally normal to wonder about "ain't"! 🤔 It's a colloquial way of saying "am not," "is not," or "are not." It's true, sometimes it adds a unique flair to speech, especially when you're navigating those tricky verb forms. 😅 Language can be surprising, right? If you ever have more language curiosities, feel free to ask! 🌟😊

NIk.

Thanks again, EnglishTest Blog.😊
Thanks 👍
Very helpful.
Glad you think so!
❤❤❤
Uninteresting fact: english ya means you, when russian ya (я) means I (me)
Amazing
Y'all
Is this satire? No educated person speaks like this. This does a great disservice to people who are trying to learn English. None of these contractions would be considered acceptable in a business setting.
Where are you actually from?

The word "informal" means something to you?
@@angelguevara7730 This isn't informal. This is how people talk who chew gum and blow their noses in their shirtsleeves. This kind of usage only holds you back in life.
