- Visit London bookstores and cafes with me!
I love calming vlogs (which is what I hope this will be) so I thought I would give making one a go.
I had such a relaxing weekend of cafes, reading and book shopping (I only bought one book though 😭). I hope you enjoy coming along with me for the day ❤️
My favorite pasttimes...drinking coffee and books..❤
Me too!! 💜
The algorithm brought me here and the thumbnail made me click, a great little vlog! 📚☕️ I just wishes it was longer hehe.
Aww bless you thank you!! I think I’m going to make some more videos like this ☺️ I never know how long to make my videos 😂
same. wish it were longer😂
Such a good bookish day! Always nice to see a cute dog somewhere. :) I really miss going to thrift stores/charity shops for books. One of the only downsides of moving to Germany lol.
Thank you it was lovely ☺️ That’s such a shame you can’t thrift books in Germany, I get so excited when I find a book on my tbr in the charity shops!
Currently reading Fairy Tale and I’m really enjoying it!! It’s a nice break from reality for me these days, so that’s a positive in my book 🙂 I enjoyed the lil vlog, thank you for posting ☺️
I love to read for the same reason, love the escapism! Thank you 🥰
Gorgeous video, love the onscreen writing. Do you have any vlogging tips?
I really need to continue The Broken Earth trilogy!
It’s definitely worth it imo!
Waterstones exclusive editions are my bank accounts kryptonite 😭
I was so so tempted! 😭
Love this thank you 😊 can you solve the rubik?
And I’ve read fairy tale. It’s pretty good. Not his best but a cool story
@@janethecreative4350 ahaha no I cannot solve the rubiks 😭 i think I’ll leave fairy tale for a bit then, I’ve never read Stephen King before!
@@rebeccasreads his best (and my favourite book of all time) is definately the stand. Ignore the Amazon tv show . The book is a million times better!
@@janethecreative4350 I’ll have to add it to my TBR! Thank you for the rec 🙏🏻
What charity shops were these if you remember?
Off the top of my head, the ones in this video were mainly the Oxfam and cancer research shops in Wimbledon!
If I am not mistaken Waterstones is to Great Britain what B&N is to the U.S.
Yes! My understanding is that hedge fund that owns Waterstones bought out B&N when they were struggling so the shops look really similar. I’m going to NY in September and am so excited to visit your bookstores!
Yeah, they remade them and they are quite the labrynth to get through, depending on the store.@@rebeccasreads
Is this London?
Yes it is ☺️
@@rebeccasreads what a lovely area
Nah! For £22.00, even that exclusive edition is steep.
Agreed!!
PLEASE PLEASE remember when putting your video dialogue on screen in writing how many people wear glasses. Some of your on screen writing is so small I cannot read it. ❤
Fair enough, I’ve never edited videos before the this so is all a learning process, will keep an eye out for this
