This was heartbreaking to watch the first time, made me cry. The second time now still hits the same as the first.

For those who don’t know, time slows down slightly next to objects of unbelievable mass, and a black hole is the object with the most mass in the known universe, so time is reduced heavily near it. So she was stuck near the black hole for only a little bit, but on earth the time passed normally and it was 87 years, or a few hours for her, before she found a way back.

Horizon's son IS dead due to the passing of time and cause of old age, but Horizon managed re-unite with him by time travelling back when Newton's still a kid. She then left a message for her pass-self to stay strong and never give up, because one day, she will be able to see her son again.

When I first saw the horizon teaser, I instantly fell in love with this character, and I was literally praying that she would make it into the game. Because after forge, I thought that all hope was lost when she was abandoned in space. I cried for this character when she lost her son, and the in game dialog on olympus really made me feel worse. Which is why I love this game, all of the stories and the attention to the lore is perfect, keep it up respawn!
