That's kind of why I'm here. I sort of thought either it would hit him and he'd change the course or something (as he sort of changed the course of the survivors in many ways on the island) but also I after it was over, I thought it was kind of badass how the actor did such a great job delivering his lines and timing the pendulum. I came here to see if anyone was talking about it because I kind of wonder if they built or used a real pendulum or something or if it was CGI. I thought maybe if it was cgi, he just did his part and they added it in afterward. Either way that actor and character are just so badass imo and I think he made Lost way better. There was this one other scene I always think about where he's having that problem on that boat where he's like time-travelling into his former self, and he comes back and doesn't know what's going on and that crazy looking doctor injects that weird looking guy with something. Desmond has the most freaked out look on his face and says something like "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON HERE" and it was just so believable. I didn't realize how fk'd up that situation would have been until his reaction...you're on some crazy random ship with that crazy looking doctor injecting some dude who is showing same symptoms as u lol. Sorry for the rant just a big fan of the Desmond and Henry Cusick
While this scene seemed like a cop out when I first saw it. It appears Eloise just ignores Desmond delivering Faraday's message for help. Eloise of course knows that she has already shot Daniel in HER past (What is done is done). No one watching the show at this point knew that was going to happen. Daniel wasn't aware his mother was going to kill him when he told Desmond to get the message to his mother. That's why Daniel tells Eloise (You always knew) when he was dying from the gunshot wound. This scene makes more sense after knowing what happened later.
Wouldn't it have been Daniel? iirc, Eloise had his diary after she shot him - which means he could have invented the theory that eventually led to The Lamp Post. Plus she looked so proud when she said that, so I always assumed that she was talking about her son
@@artembaranov Well we both know from Season 5 that in the 70-ies both Richard and Jacob acknowledged her as their leader. The problem is that people can switch sides as shown multiple times.

@@artembaranov All due respect, but it's been answered. If you've seen the whole show, just think about it... nice catch
What a show
I’d you love plot holes then yea
Eloiuse dedicating her life to all of this from the book she found on her son when he travelled to the past. One big circle of repeated events.
Love this scene and love Fionnuala
what's interesting is that it is her son who built the room in the past
That's not accurate. It was Pierre Chang and Horace Goodspeed.
Where did you get this info from? I don’t think it is ever specifically mentioned that Daniel built the station or the pendulum.
I think one major problem is when someone moves the island which could happen anytime would mess up the formula to know where the island is going.
Could this be based on the focault pendulum?
Thank you for uploading. Eloise is my favorite character
The actress is so perfect for that show
So there's this whole crew of interesting people you follow throughout the show and your favorite character is the old lady who appears in 2 episodes

Probably all caused by a huge underground chunk of either strange of exotic matter in the Island affecting time and space.

I thought it might be Alvar Hanso, since it is technically a Dharma station.
Who is Eloise Hawking allied with? Jacob?
