As u know Sharon isn't 100% fashion and looks - aquaria excels in that category while Sharon is funnier and better at improv, but Aquaria is pretty funny too . It just takes her a second to warm up.

I know this comment is old but.. yeah, it almost looks like the editors are trying to make it look like she's annoyed but it's obvious she's crying. Like they kept zooming in on her while she's making faces that could be misconstrued.
Anyone who has ever had to fight back tears, trying not to ruin their makeup knows that face I think. The one not connecting to what was going on was Kandy, I felt.

I feel bad for Violet. You can tell she really wants to like get along with everyone and have that camaraderie and it's not translating. She's awkward and is probably introverted. She's honest to a fault and gets a lot of flack for it. She also seems like a person who isn't accustomed to navigating social situations.
I agree, it seems like she has little to none experience with making friends lol.. you can see she is a little hurt that no one likes her but at the same time she doesnt want to compromise and create common ground with people

Ginger, Kennedy, and Jasmine were straight up bullying. If you watch episode 12 of untucked, she even consoled Kennedy about her insecurities despite Kennedy not being nice to her and Pearl.
I’d rather Violet as a friend because she says things as it is to your face. Rather than people who keep saying “I love you…” but throws you under the bus and talks shit about you from behind.

that part made me so happy. i think it was exactly what violet needed to hear, and it was nice to see someone talk about their issues with violet without being shady or making fun of her. i was sad to see kasha go, she was really the only older queen this season who was nice and supportive :(

@@Evioxr what do you mean no? She was respectful but honest, kind but blunt when needed. Kasha is an amazing queen, a supportive individual and, on her season, a great competitor. And before anyone says "Um...she went home fifth and didn't win a main challenge", yes you're correct, but she was never below safe until her elimination, in fact, she was high in episodes 2 and 3, and even in the episode she went home on, she managed to snag a mini challenge win. This is just a Kasha rant now, but she's one of those queen deserving of an All Stars appearance that, for the most part, isn't asked for by fans, again not saying there isn't, but she definitely deserves the chance to show how great she is again
To be honest I felt bad when she was sent home on this episode. I do not mean to disrespect anyone, but I feel she had much more to show. She is a seasoned drag queen who has tons of experience and is so sweet. I would have loved to see more from her.
Sometimes I think that season 7 got a very great cast with people full of talent like Violet, Kasha, Max, Pearl, Miss Fame, Ginger, Katia, Kennedy, Jaydenn and Trixie, but they got challenges that were not that great.
It is the season we didn't get to have the ball or a real Rusical, the acting challenges were always a bit lukewarm as for the theme.
I know that you have to work with what you are given, but there is also to say that even the most talented person in the world has limits.
We saw how great Ginger, Katya, Kennedy and Trixie were on All Stars and how good did Violet and Pearl perform until the end of season 7. That means that they are insanely talented, but some of them, like Kasha and Jaydenn, didn't get the chance to show themselves at their brightest.
I am actually convinced that this could have been a truly great season if the challenges had been a little more exiting and varied a bit more.
I don't see enough praise for Jaidynn. Like she's just gorgeous. She's gorgeous
And genuinely nice. Like even when she talked to violet about being kind of rude to the guy in the studio she was kind about it just honest. She’s really sweet and talented.

tbh season 7 was cursed by stupid decisions and challenges but it had some of the most lovable queens: Trixie miss fame jaidynn pearl kasha max and Katya are all some of my fav personalities on this show

Yes when it comes to the queens this is still one of my favorite seasons. I loved everyone instantly, the most recent season I don’t even remember all the names.

Abyss it’s been 2 years since I made that comment and I actually agree with you on Kennedy and ginger now lol since rewatching that season a couple of times both of them grew on me, I just really disliked them the first time around because I felt they were super bitter. I love pearl tho, am glad she made top 3, pearl brought her back to the competition and Trixie got eliminated the next episode so she clearly wasn’t ready. Pearl deserved it.

HOLYCOWofthesea! I always liked Violet and was always confused by all the hate she got. I actually started watching untucked because I wanted to see if she was a bitch behind the scenes. To my suprise Ginger and Kennedy turned out to be the real mean girls XD

I didn't like Violet the first couple of episodes, but I did like her better as I kept watching. Untucked is what truly got me to love Violet though. I finally understood where she was coming from, and you can really see how her personality improves with each episode.

Because she sees how they all come for Pearl and Violet, she and Max both know they're in a good place where they aren't on anyone's bad side, the less they talk the safer they feel, Ginger and Kennedy are vicious.

The fact is that miss kasha Davis has been auditioning for this show for SEVEN years! She's wanted to be on this show for so. fucking, long. it was her dream, and she lost to someone who WANTED to leave and was over it. Plus she went home the next week. Totally unfair.
My biggest pet peeve is when Ru lets a queen stay and they go home the next episode... that is exactly how S9 started off and it frustrates me to no further end, when Ru tells you shantay you stay... that better light a spark under your ass and shake you so much you will never let yourself get in the bottom again.... KIMORA. Jaymes might have done so much more with his second chance. S9 was the season of second-third chances... (Farrah Alexis Nina)...
MyidolGwen Okay Nina doesn’t count. Aja was in the bottom for the second time and it was definitely her time to go. Then Valentina was in the bottom AND DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE WORDS LOL. Had she bothered to learn them, she would’ve most likely sent Nina home. She could’ve won EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE and still should’ve gone home for that. She looked ridiculous. Nina lost against Shea which was fair, but she earned her spot to stay against Aja and Valentina. Period. I understand that Aja and Valentina probably wanted to stay a lot more than her, but with that being said they just didn’t deliver.

A lot of people dislike this season for being boring but its just the challenges. This is easily one of the better casts of girls and little seasons sprawl so many Iconic great queens. I mean we Have Violet, Trixie, Katya, Max, Jasmine Masters, Kennedy, Ginger, Pearl and Miss Fame all in one season. I find myself coming back to this season the most cause of how crazy these queens are.

I don't understand why everyone clocks Max for her grey hair...Kasha is always a brunette, ginger is always wearing brown or black hair. People just eye onto max for lacking "versatility".

@@woopdf2827 sorry, I might have worded that wrong, I love crazy looks, but I think what the judges mean is that a queen can be a "natural" blonde, but not a "natural" grey unless they're of that age and thus it comes off as more of a gimmick.
I do love max with grey hair, or dustys dots and all those kind of things personally, but I'm just saying that's likely where the judges are coming from.
Kandy should've gone home in my opinion. Kasha slips up once, and gets sent home. Kandy is not memorable and doesn't live up to previous PR queens . She did turn it out in the lisynch but Kasha di dwell too. That's just my opinion.

I think the reason Kandy Ho stayed instead of Kasha was because Kandy KNEW the lyrics (u can see Kasha slip up especially on the "Coffee tea on me baby touche a la my opening line might be a bit passe but don't think that I don't know what I'm feeling for you cause I got the vibe the first time that I saw you whoa whoa..." part of the song & Kandy sold the performance, Kasha didn't really do anythin with it
Kasha did better in the overall competition, but Kandy flat out won that lip sync. Had Kasha known the lyrics, she would have stayed.

That's true. Ru usually picked the winner largely based on success in the most challenges. However, I do think that there were several challenges that Tyra shouldn't have won throughout the competition. It just seemed like the judges were biased towards her from the very beginning.
I agree, the wedding challenge that Tyra won clearly should have gone to Raven she looked adorable and really stepped it up (imo).
Max got so screwed over this season. Fumbled once, and they make sure she's going home, and then they gave her that messy edit to make her look a fool on her exit. She's so sweet and kind, she should have at least got Miss Congeniality.

I always liked violet and felt bad for her. I feel like the queens took their first impression of her and just shut down any growth she tried to show. But if u noticed, whenever there was a heartfelt moment between the girls in untucked or in the scenes of them getting in drag in the workroom, violet was always the one listening and relating, and feeling for the girl speaking. She’s truly a sweetheart who is just passionate about her craft.
Exactly, in the show there were moments when some queens talked about their bad experiences or unaccepting families and every time violet was nearby she was very empathetic and comforting
I adore how authentic and vulnerable Fame is. Rewatching this season of untucked makes me realize how much I miss Drag Race being on Logo.
TBH everyone hates on season 7 because of the girls, but TBH it was Ru's decisions and the challenges that made that season pretty bad. I mean the merle Ginsberg (spelling?) challenge was a complete waste of talent, and with so many queens who are talented at sewing this season, they give them too many acting challenges
i loved this season, but i agree that they needed more sewing and designing challenges. there wasn't even a challenge where they had to drag up a different person and those are my favorite.

I'm so proud of Pearl tbh, I remember her talking about how her experience being on the show was so tough because of Ru being so rude and unprofessional towards her. And then after Ru said that to her I'm sure it made her want to leave, but seeing her nail this challenge it was like the biggest "fuck you Ru I know I can do this". She 100% deserved to win, and I feel so horrible that she didn't enjoy being on here. Seeing her still keep going and pushing, then making it to the top three it just showed how strong of a drag queen she really is.
Fame is sooo sweet. I feel like so many people forget about the moments like this one and that time she comforted Katya when she was struggling with her sobriety. Gorgeous inside and out.

Max deserved so much more. I think the worst is that they gave her such a bad edit and made her look like a fool. She was so sweet and supportive of her fellow queens and then got sent home to someone who hadn’t even won a challenge. Kasha was also robbed and given a shade edit. I thought she was hilarious.

I never cry in TV shows or Movies but this episode has me balling. From Ru telling Pearl she has no personality to Violet being vulnerable to Gingers sobbing message from her husband to Fames meltdown. Its all so good and real.
That was one of the most graceful exits I've ever seen. You KNOW that Kasha truly respected the show and all the queens and she was grateful to have been a part of that. She also had the life experience to know better than to throw a tantrum about her being shorted. I love her spirit and I'd love see her again in real life :D
