When the 2011 disaster struck, 12 prefectures (a quarter of Japan) were affected and we were stunned. Entertainment programs and commercials were turned off from TV, and we watched the horrific damage all day long for months. In order to solve the power shortage, planned power outages were carried out in relay throughout the country for a long period of time. We cried every day as many people died in evacuation centers from exhaustion and despair. Without the rescue operations and relief supplies from over 190 countries, we would not have been able to face or overcome the disaster. I am truly grateful.
During such a difficult time, music was an important thing to bring back our hearts.
MISIA has said that this song is a prayer. She has been singing this song for 10 years with all her soul. Her singing and personality are wonderful, and she is the pride of Japan.🍀

Thank you for reacting to Japanese songs.
Ignore anyone who makes nasty comments.
"Ashitae" was released by Japanese diva Misia as a cheer song for the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake, not a requiem.
March 11th is a special day for Japanese people.
For those who lost their loved ones and those who survived, this song
It contains a message that we will live toward tomorrow without being discouraged.
We remembered the person who died, and the feeling that we should live toward tomorrow with the intention of living for that person was conveyed.

This song is a MISIA song that tried to give hope to those who were victims of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan. MISIA is a prayer song. I want you to understand the meaning of the song more deeply. I think MISIA is a treasure of Japan

    To tomorrow
Even when I close my eyes
I see the scenery colored in sorrow
On a day like that, when my tears won’t disappear
I hope that gentle and kind voices and warmths
    Will reach you, always
Some nights when I am fearful
Every time I turn off the light in my room
I see outside through the window, shining as if it’s a small light
I hope that only tender and gentle dreams
    Will visit you, always
To tomorrow, to tomorrow, to tomorrow
    I will sing
    I will keep singing
Even if my words don’t come out
    I will go with you
    To tomorrow, to tomorrow
Even though we have a long way to go
    Because the road continues
    Because you are not alone
    To tomorrow
    To know the pain
    To see your smile
I believe that is the “answer”
From the bottom of my heart
    Our hands holding each other
    Our thoughts connecting each other
They will give us tremendous strengths
    To overcome this moment
With you, with you, with you
    Let’s sing
    Even if we are apart
Even if we have a long way to go
To tomorrow, to tomorrow, to tomorrow
    Let’s sing
Let’s keep singing until my thoughts will reach you
    No nights lasts forever
    To tomorrow
    Water from the melting snow
    Little buds waiting for spring
Smiles occasionally falling here and there
The sunny sky after the rain
    The moonlight through the clouds
The night sky will bring us a new morning
To tomorrow, to tomorrow, to tomorrow
    I will sing
I will sing even if my voice withers
To you, to you, to you
    I will sing
We are under the same sky
    Let’s move forward together

‎[ABOUT THE MESSAGE SONG "TOMORROW" (MISIA COMMENT) ‎
‎as i look at the news every day, i learned that there are many people who are worried about the future, and there are many people who are full of anxiety again at night. for those who have such anxiety, it is okay even a little ... i wish you a moment of peace. ‎
‎let's live together for tomorrow. i'm going to sing to tomorrow... i wanted to convey that feeling, so i wrote this poem. ‎
‎let's head together under this same sky, to tomorrow‎

If you are impressed by this song,
    I'd love to,
I want you to learn Japanese.
As it is difficult to translate the mind
Japanese is said to have created the oldest literature,
    There are many different words,
    Delicate,
    There are too many words.
    Understand the real words,
    I want you to listen.
