✅ This week's episode:
If you are looking for things to do in Michigan, consider touring Traverse City. Traverse City is known for the historical sites, lighthouses and of course, Cherries. The cherry capital of the world has a lot to offer. We explored the state park with our kids and pets. It was amazing! Lake Michigan is beautiful and has lots of beaches and activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking and boating. Traverse City weather is beautiful in June with the Cherry festival kicking off in early July. If you get a chance to explore Traverse City, check out the restaurants, shops and parks. Whether you are full time RV living or just exploring for the day, you will not be disappointed. It's worth a trip! Thank you for watching this week's episode and until the next STRANGE adventure, keep making your own!

Great detail! Thank you for sharing.
I was born on the other side of the state in Alpena and have lived in Florida for most of my life. Looking at the water of the Great Lakes, I think in amazement, "I could dive in and not risk be eaten alive by ten different animals!"
Yes, that’s a perk of the Lakes. Ocean feel without the ocean predators! Sounds like you need to get back up there one day. 😉 Thanks!
Loved this, what a beautiful place.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was such an awesome place to visit.
Great video looks like a lot of fun
We definitely had a good time 😊 Thanks for watching!
Another great video guys!!
Thanks!!!
It was not that long ago when the water levels were really low. It's always up and down. Not global warming. A great place to live 150 days out of the year.
I don’t know what you’re talking about. lol Michigan has been flooded for about three years now.
@@potatopeeler2919 The way the water levels work on the great lakes is that it has periods of many years where the lake levels are high and low. You are currently in a high phase. Now you know.
One of you are in a high place. Enjoy the video.
Thanks!
I lived in TC for a few years. I really miss it but I don’t miss those winters! Great video
Beautiful area! I'm sure the winters are a bit more than what we are used to! LOL We can't wait to make it up there again!
I truly enjoy going along on your travels with you, such a wonderful video and I love the music, enjoy and be safe!
Thanks for being there with us 😊
Great video. I love Traverse City. My cousin has a cabin near there and I've enjoyed spending time there at the lake with them. The water level at their cabin in way up this year and lots of flooding in the area. Nice drive along the lakeshore and drone footage at the end.
It is a beautiful area and the water was high in a lot of places. We definitely want to go back at some point. Thanks for watching!
Saw you on Changing Lanes Live. Just joined!
Thank you so much for checking out our channel! Welcome! If you ever have any questions, let us know! 🙂
Needed a dose of happy so i searched up my home town and found this video. Thank you! I still go back because my parents still live near tc
Beautiful area! Glad we could help. Be sure to subscribe, we have lots of Michigan videos. One of our favorite states! Have a great day! 😊
Great video guys! That is some beautiful country up there. We hope to visit the area soon. Your videos are very well done. Thanks for sharing Paul &Magen

THANK YOU!!! We miss you guys. Thank you for watching!❤️
Great video thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching
Lived there 20 years. It was a good run, but I got tired of the winters. Moved to Beautiful Prescott Arizona. Traded water in for mountains, and SUN. I have not shoveled, raked, or mowed for the last 12 years.
No shoveling or mowing???? Sign me up!!! It is beautiful up there but I have not experienced a winter there and don't plan to anytime soon! 😉Thanks for watching!
I was born in TC many years ago. Recently moved away and enjoyed seeing my home town in your video.
Glad I could help bring it back for ya. We want to go back and explore more next time! Beautiful area!
El paraíso terrenal !!!!!!
Indeed!
Love it guys! Our fall plans have changed so many times with all the uncertainty...but watching a channel that showcases the UP last night, and now your Torch Lake...we are now hoping to see Northern Michigan and the UP again in September!
Hopefully your plans will work out for this fall. ❤️ We has this trip planned for almost a year and just kept check all the campgrounds/websites to make sure we could still make it. The UP is amazing so I hope you will be able to go 😊 Safe travels and thanks for watching.
Hey there! Roger and Shanell here. We met you guys on the path by the water on Mackinaw Island. Actually headed to Traverse city this weekend! Great video, safe travels.
Hi Roger & Shanell! So great to hear from you guys. It was awesome meeting you guys and then running into you on the ride back to Mackinaw City. Enjoy Traverse city! I look forward to seeing some drone footage one day! Safe travels my friend! 🙂 Harold & Cindy
Traverse City is a great place. We stay at Traverse Bay RV Resort.
Been there twice, gotta go back
We will have to look into that RV resort. We drove a long ways to get there! 🙂 Thanks!
Reminds me of the Gulf of Mexico
It’s beautiful up there!
I've lived in traverse in town my whole life and I can pin point all the places you are
That's so cool!! It was so nice to visit. I know we didn't get to see much with it only being a day trip. We will defiantly be going back. Thanks for watching!
Thats weird seeing the greem stuff. Also how was the ice cream. Oh and the McClaren at 9:38. That car costs more than my whole rig setup LOL
Lol, yeah it’s an expensive car. 😬 Nice though. The kids loved the ice cream 😊
Hello saw you today on RV UNDERWAY's live. Wanted to come over and share some love and give you another Sub. Look forward to seeing more of your content
Thank you so much for coming over and checking out our channel. We appreciate you being here! If you have any questions, just let us know. Welcome to the community. Thanks!
1:40 Good documentation of how flooded the park is! In past years, the water normally does not come close to the top of the wharf. I’ve never seen the lake levels so high.
A lot of people were saying the same thing. We still had a great time though. Thanks for watching!
They were high in the mid 80's but I was not living in Traverse at that time, so I can't compare. In the 90's and beyond the water levels were really low. I never saw it that high when I lived there.
I lived here for most of my entire life
That’s a beautiful area to grow up in. Wow. Love that part of Michigan.
I worked at summer camp there in 1996. I miss that town so much. I don't remember tunnels though so that must be new. Acrually that picture of downtown looked unfamiliar lol, the only thing I recignized was the beach. Terrible memory...
It was a beautiful place! There was a lot of construction happening even while we were there. The beach was awesome, except for all of the pollen in the water which I'm sure was because of the time of our visit. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out some of our other Michigan videos! Thanks!
What would y’all recommend that’s friendly for 10-16 year old kids?
We enjoyed the harbor area. It has a nice park along with a beach and cafe. You can rent her skis in that area as well. Also, you are only 35 mins from Sleeping bear dunes National lakeshore. If you’re up for a challenge, that’s a great place!
That was pollen in the water ... you must have been there in the spring.
We were there in June. It was a lot of pollen!
that's so weird that everyone parks right on that flooded parking lot. lol
LOL. It didn’t stop them... thanks for watching!
🌼 Very nice! Thanks for taking me along.
Stay safe.
Thanks for watching 😊
You need to come back. You missed SO MUCH!
We know!! We will definitely be back! Recommendations?
@@1StrangeAdventure Take a drive up the old mission peninsula to the tip. Explore parts of Leelanau county and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There are many many vinyards, orchards and road side attractions in the area!
Yea the water should not be going over that wall also that was Pollen
We were told the water was really high, but it did make it a cool feature to have the water rolling up on the walk way like that. And that was a lot of Pollen. I thought VA was bad! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Where did u stay I traverse city?
We actually stayed at a KOA outside of Traverse city and drove in for the day.
Ok thanks for the info, I will look it up.
Hi what RV park / area did you stay in?
Hello! We actually stayed in Roscommon, Higgins Lake KOA, since we were on our way to the UP. We stayed there while we visited Traverse City and Torch Lake. Thanks for watching!
Whos McLaren?
🤷♂️ Not sure.
Regular working class can't afford to live there.
Unless you want to downsize your life to....nothing.
Michigan sucks.
Lots of places across the country have high living expenses but are beautiful to visit. We definitely enjoyed visiting northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Thanks for watching!
