Itumo It's important for the black community to appear in a positive light, their image has been ruined by the media. We need more people like them to present blacks in a normal healthy way, because I'm pretty sure 99% of African Americans are decent human beings.
Ra's Al Ghul I understand the sentiment. But the more we put race at the forefront of everything, the more we play into the idea that skin color is a determinant of ability.
To me, these are two great science and tech communicators. Its unnecessary to define them by skin color

+Bashar A. Whilst I agree that Neil is a great mind, you calling his interviewee "kid" shows how little you know of him. Aside from being a CZcams "celeb" he is actually a very intelligent, articulate, well rounded person.
Just have a look at the last minute of the interview.
Him Marques (MKBHD), Devin [sp] (Smarter Everyday) and Dagogo (Coldfusion) are a different breed of youtubers, who are actually consistent and a worthwhile source of information.
Check them out! It's not all screaming and shouting and flossing that gets attention... Sometimes it's actually the brains behind the youtuber that gets them famous.

Outstanding. I've been a subscriber to MKBHD ever since I got a Galaxy S3 on his recommendation (such an amazing phone at the time), and to see him interview by Tyson has to be a 'can you believe this?' moment for him. Two generations of positive, successful brothers; nothing at all wrong with that.
@MKBHD seems like such a good kid. Been following his stuff for so long, feels like seeing a little brother grow up in front of you eyes! Keep it up Marques.

Really cool interview, I'd be so excited to talk to Neil deGrasse Tyson in an interview like this, he always seems to energetic & friendly, yet like he'd always be ready to hear your side of the discussion. Much as I love MKBHD, I can't help but feel almost as if he sort of wasted this opportunity; aside from him almost seeming to not take to Tyson's jokes too well, it also just felt like he didn't engage with his responses as much, and sort of dodged a few questions...
Still though, this was really fun to watch! Some of my favourite people engaging in discussion is always great!

This car wants to go all the way to the left, and the car on the left wants to go to the right... there's no way for the cars to communicate that to each other right now..... UH, YEAH THERE IS. It's called a blinker/turn signal and all these motherfuckers on the road don't know how to use them and it causes a metric shit ton of traffic.

well i think he was just being general with it. i think he meant to say precise movements would require all that data in the most detailed information like to the centimeter and what speed the car is coming towards to the left and stuff. very precise movements is what he meant.

if people were not aware of who the interviewer is then they would probably find this very confusing and unprofessional in a way but i just like how people can just communicate without having to worry about the camera and thousands of people watching them and just be themselves and have just a CHAT.

Tyson is an excellent host!
He is actually a horrible host....he constantly laughed thinking he was being funny when he wasn't. It was actually rather irritating. Good question but horrible host. Just ask the questions and stop trying to be a comedian. That laugh is so damn irritating.
While i agree with you on the laughing part, i have seen hosts who do not let their guest do their talking. He was mostly quiet when MKBHD was talking , and it adds that he did not give stupid comments where he did not know anything about the technology.
So me, personally, would not categorize him as a horrible host ;).
You're right....great questions but just not great delivery...i think even MKBHD was a little uncomfortable....Mr Tyson is a great mind no doubt!!!!
+Donald Hannah lol it depends the type of person you like. You are annoyed, but some people dont find it annoying. Tyson is the type of guy who slip some fun between interview, while marques is kinda very serious with the interview. Apparently the two didn't match very well.
