Q: How does it function as a notification machine?
A: It's usable, but still not ideal, especially when the app name is long (let's say something like [Whatsapp] annoying-and-long-name Group), this will eat most of the space, and the actual message is only a few lines (let's say 4-5 lines), you can tap on the message to view a bit more, but sometimes it's still not enough, with all the important messages tucked away in "..."

What is better haylou ls02 or mi band 5? I like more the first one because of the shape, but I want it for workout and I don't know what is better.

No, and no.
The apps I’ve shown you are everything there is. So only music control, and there’s no notes support, these are really cheap smartwatch anyway haha 🤣

@@FireWyvern870 Ah yeah those are some limitations of these 3rd party watches honestly speaking, and there are only a couple lines of text notification shown and that's it right, I do have to talk about this in the pinned comments too!
Just Download Haylou fit older version from google not from the store and once installed update it..it worked perfectly for me try and do let me know :)

To be honest they're pretty in line with what I can see on other trackers, it's not hard to get it wrong these days

U can turn on dnd, u need to set the time duration on the app. It does work for me, the watch doesn't rise to wake and the notification won't come in.

I use the Hello Haylou 3rd party app. The official app is terrible and information is pretty useless.
I also have a Huawei Band 4 and it's a lot better in terms of features, accuracy and data. The only downside is that it doesn't look good, so the Haylou LS02 wins in terms of looking like an actual watch.
what can you expect from a US$20 smart watch..great for the price anyways..

Yeah of course, they track it in the exercise app (of the watch), or you could find the metric in the Haylou app (on your phone)

As I've said LS05 or Haylou Solar is only a circular version of this, and everything else I talk about here vs Mi Band 5 will be the same opinion

one of the biggest dealbreaker for me when choosing smartband and smartwatch will be the customization. Being a watch with a screen on it I'd expect that I can install a watchface I made on my own.
I really wish more smartband / smartwatches will offer an in-depth customization, at least giving user a program that lets user make their own faces.
I'm quite interested with how Haylou tries to bring affordable smartwatches, sayang sih pas diliat2 ternyata gaada dukungan buat masang watchface dari luar. Akhirnya malah beli Mi Band 5 as people actually made a program to make and install your own watchfaces.
I guess we'll just have to wait for Haylou to bring something surprising
I use this watch for a few week already, for ios user dont buy this one. Haylou app(the orange one) cant sync with apple health. So if you use bookdoc or something this watch totally useless. You much better off with mi band since mi app is 1000 time much better. Until haylou update their app, for ios user stay away get mi band instead.
