I have just received my Shark IZ201UK. I ordered it at 12 noon yesterday & to my surprise it arrived at 7:30AM the next day... Excellent service. Watching this video has made it very clear for me to use now. many thanks
I highly recommend checking out the updated version of this - it’s great. The only downside I could see with this model is the trigger system for extra suction. Thankfully they’ve removed this on the newer model and added a more comprehensive control unit on top of the handle.
It’s not massively different but each small upgrade makes up quite a big difference in looks and quality - I don’t mean to sound weird but it’s quite a pretty thing to look at as vacuum cleaners go, especially with the rose gold and black trim.

My Shark cleaner is nearly 2yrs old. Suction appears to be working ok but it is not picking up very well. I have watched your video, read troubleshooting section on manual and declogged section that was bunged up (this was the tube from the actual cleaner into the wand, but to little effect. Also cleaned all filters and left to dry for 24 hrs. Please can you give me some advice as to how or what I should do next. How long does the brush head,orange and black one, and is this maybe the problem. Many thanks for any help you can give me.

I hear that Shark vacuum cleaners clog up at the filters more than any other brand, bag or bagless. I really like Shark designs but the filters put me off and I went for a SEBO plug in vacuum and Dyson cordless in between .
I cannot get a new bristle brush for my Shark duo clean anti hair wrap model number iz201ukt 26 I have even tried Shark site and they do not make one does anyone know what model will fit the said model number ?
Good video but you never showed us how to change the belt you never mentioned having one
Good video but a few questions please
1. Do you have to take off the handheld to empty?
2. In upright mode how do I stop it from falling?
3. In folded mode how do I access charging point?

1. It is a lot easier if you remove the handheld part as the the wand will just get in the way.
2. The only way to stop it falling is to lean it up against something, it is not a freestanding vacuum.
3. Because the charging port is on the top of the vacuum, it is still easily reached even when it is folded together.

I've just become the proud owner of this shark today... I'm wiring for it to fully charge and I'm going to town on my floors... would you say this could be a primary vacuum? I also have a Dyson DC10... its brilliant but so bulky and heavy.
I would say this vacuum should be ok as a main vacuum, it will be interesting to see how you think it compares to the Dyson
@@lords-electrical so far so good.... the suction is incredible... its very easy to use. I had a Dyson v8 and don't think it was anywhere near as good as the shark. I can see the shark being used exclusively. Thank you for answering my question

The 5 year warranty is impressive. Don't see that on competitor's machines.
Must admit i have been impressed with this model and not many manufacturers are confident to give a 5 year warranty at that sort of price.
