Hi. I’m in north of Seattle and enjoy your videos. I had a strange thing happen yesterday. My stick stopped working after I removed the batteries. So I read how to do a reset. But it wasn’t reading the usb storage. So I removed the storage, plugged it back in. Then it was ok.

Hi Doc, thx for this info! I’m using your Debloater tool on my Firestick 4K, to stop automatic updates from Amazon,which let Me use a 3rd party launchers on my Firestick! Don’t know, If You have any info, if those new updates will still stopping Me to use those 3rd party launcher’s? 🤷♂️ I didn’t try it yet, because I don’t wanna lose d option. I love this launcher’s.
On my 2nd generation Firestick with Automatic updates on and Amazon launcher, the Developer option never disappeared, even before the current update, it was still there! I was checking it every day after your first video! So maybe the 2nd generation Firestick’s, didn’t have the issue 🤷♂️Thx again and BE SAFE! Watching from TN. 🤝🍻

Have a Firestick Lite. I've never seen an update that (temporarily) removes Developer Options.

On my Firestick 4k never had the problem but that maybe 'cause it has OS 6..... The only "problem" I have with mine is that "the guide channel icon" (the TV with the antenna) sometimes appears on the top row along with the Home button but most of the time is on the 6th row called "On Now". Don't know why but it is peculiar. Well thanks for the info again, your videos are always welcome!
