- I found this audio from an amateur recording at Disneyland in April, 1997. The fans were going crazy in the audience, sharing this last moment together. The video was out of sync and in a terrible quality so I mixed it with this high quality video record to give you the best experience out of it.

I remember when this came out in the Disney parks, Epcot center's Journey into Imagination, nothing can ever capture that feeling of being there, a child of the 80's, 3D glasses on and singing along!

Rocky Horror is fun to do party watches with, but because of Captain EO's fast paced nature, that shit makes me get up and DANCE like nobody's business.

I’m pretty sure that in 1997 this wasn’t readily available to the public enough for this many people to know every beat and all the dialogue. I mean they know EVERY WORD! This wasn’t released on VHS or anything and there was no CZcams. The only way to see this was at the Disney Parks. How much time and money did these people have? The dedication was REAL!!!

I got to see it 4 times in 1 day at epcot, due to the horrible hot weather. Lol the theater was very cool.

Hello this is Doc-Mach's with A.S.K. Paranormal, I loved growing up with Michael Jackson in the 70's & 80's & watching his awesome performances. There has never been, nor shall there ever be another MJ, you will be missed by those that knew your heart...and it was the best heart in the world.
I think that "Captain EO" would have been pulled from the Disney Parks in the mid-to-late 1990's regardless of what happened with Michael Jackson's reputation. This is because both tastes and technology have moved on since this show's premiere back in 1986. And so I'm pretty sure that the Disney Theme Parks would have replaced this with "Honey, I Shrunk The Audience", regardless.
Somebody please create a Blu-ray/DVD package of this classic! With both standard and 3-D versions... with four pairs of 3-D glasses in each package! RIP, Michael! ❤️🎵
This is amazing. I was so sad when this first closed. In fact I may or may not have made off with the 3D glasses I wore the last time I saw this. I will neither confirm nor deny. LOL
I love the end of this video, when the cast member asks everyone to put their glasses in the white bins and some guy screams, "YEAH, RIGHT!" LMAO!
These are my people. I had no idea there were other fans of this film as fanatical as I am. To have been among them for this screening would have been absolutely bonkers and just an insane pleasure. I died laughing at their intense reactions while watching this and joined in the screaming as well, given a proper excuse to do so, but finally broke into ecstatic tears of joy when 'Another Part Of Me' began. 😭🥺🤩🥰 I was six years old when Captain EO debuted at Disneyland, and it was such a mind-blowingly monumental event in my childhood that Another Part of Me still remains my favorite song on the BAD album. What a novel way of saying that we're all one, connected and inseparable from each other. It doesn't get more cosmically profound than that! I salute you, Captain! You got my allegiance for life. Lead the way!

The amount of money I would pay to watch this again at Epcot with an audience of MJ fans is unfathomable.
Never saw it a park, but I knew it shot in widesceen anamorphic, I wish among a lot things the estate record company would release this in HD at least streaming, the pan and scan or a regular tv version that is everywhere on here, missing out on the widescreen version, this version in widescreen is awesome, first time I've seen it this way on youtube.
