It was when she met Joe and found out what he does when she started to adjust to his behavior, which is why season 3 is so tragic. Joe blames her, yet he probably, in a way, made her this way.

i wish that was the ending here, although I love the show I hate when shows go on too long. netflix and other shows do not know when to end it, they just keep writing and writing until the show loses its flare. i was worried for season 3 but ultimately really enjoyed it... let us hope season 4 doesn't let us down since they are clearly diving off of the book in the favor of more seasons... hope it is worth it and doesn't ruin another show I love that was ruined by going on too long

Joe also moved on and started obsessing over MK. I'm halfway through book 3, so maybe there is more to it. But yeah book 3 and season 3 are nothing alike. Book 2 and season 2 are also very different.

There are three books with a fourth book coming soon (You, Hidden Bodies, You Love Me, and idk the next title). The second and third books are VERY different from the show. I definitely recommend reading them. I'm not as big of a fan of the third book. It's good, it just isn't catching my interest as much as the others did. There will be a fourth season. I doubt it will be anything like the fourth book. We shall see

Love was insane for sure, but she was happier in season 2 with her real friends and Forty, which is why she seemed so sweet. Once fully alone, and with Joe, who judged her for being just like him in season 3, she was paranoid and unhinged.
I wish we seen her friends in season 3. Only b/c they portrayed them to be super close in season two, & I highly doubt they would get out of contact like they did in season 3.
