In 2006 Australia qualified for the finals in Germany. At my school I hastily organised a Five-A-Side, 9 week, 8 nation tournament with the 8 nations in 2 groups of 4 playing each other twice. After 6 rounds we had the 1/4 Finals, then semis and finally the Unreal World Cup Final. It introduced so many kids to real football and led to the creation of Northam Springfield FC........ a local children's club. Great memories!

I would say that France '98 is probably the best World Cup ever. It was the first time that countries from outside the "traditional" football nations qualified and made a big impact - Jamaica, Japan, South Africa etc - most teams did not cynically try to win fouls all the time and actually got on with playing football, there was a pleasant and positive atmosphere throughout it, and it just seemed....friendlier then.
A lot of fantastic players, fantastic teams, & fantastic matches... Brazil vs Netherlands, Brazil vs Denmark, Netherlands vs Argentina, the drama of Argentina vs England, etc... A lot of legends... Really miss that era...

Corona is part of live, and sometimes life isn't fair. Someone with cancer or terminal illness knows at the end he is a part of whole and live goes on and it will not end here. Corona just gave many people a glimpse of what these people feel.
