DJI Mini SE first flight in 2023 at Farndon

Early in Spring, I rode the bike, without a camera, to Farndon and flew my drone and tested what the new restrictions requiring the drone orientation to be clear with the naked eye without help from the drones video feed. I flew it 100 meters downriver, then tried to fly it left, right, forward, reverse from vision only. I concluded I really can't fly that far away and maintain accurate visual control at all. Having brought it back closer, and got decent visual control, I concluded 50 metres is the maximum distance I can go.
