In Nowruz, the Master Musicians Wu Man, Basel Rajoub, Feras Charestan, Sirojiddin Juraev, Jasser Haj Youssef, Abbos Kosimov, and special guest Levent Yildirim draw on music from Central Asia, China, the Middle East, and North Africa to create a strikingly original fusion of sounds, featuring the pipa, qanun, dutar, viola d’amore, saxophone, and a panoply of percussion.
