Editor's Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan's streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan's point of view.
If you like my edits, leave a Comment, Like, and Subscribe. It helps a lot, thank you :)

a progressive candidate though would be the best option to put an end to democrat in-fighting though and unite them to take on the greed and extremism of the republicans
if not bernie who btw is still sharp and witier than both trump and biden combined then at the very least she should look at other progressive party members this is what i believe would be a perfect landslide victory for kamala's campaign.

@@DeusGamez Bernie is still too progressive for any independent voters to vote for him, it's not realistic for this country yet. Hopefully we will keep taking steps in that direction, but for right now the country isn't ready for someone like Bernie. Bernie supporters are exactly why Hillary lost in 2016, they were too selfish to put their views aside and out of spite didn't vote at all. Nothing would get done ever if we tried to get someone like Bernie in office. It's the sad truth, but we just have to deal with these more center-left dems for now until it gradually shifts more left. It's not always about the best possible outcome, now it's just about making sure Trump doesn't win.

Beshear is a nice guy, but I don't think the benefits outweight the costs. The benefits would be marginal and he ain't delivering Kentucky in the Electoral College even if he is immensely popular there.
The costs are that you've killed the most viable Dem candidate for the Kentucky Senate seat after Mitch McConnell's retirement. The Senate has been incredibly close between R and D, it has become a 50-50 deadlock with only the VP tie-breaking it many times in the past few years. And Democrat Senators from Red leaning states are usually much more right leaning than other Democrats like Joe Manchin is, who killed much of the ambitious parts of Joe Biden's infrastructure and climate bills. Securing a very progressive guy in a red state in the Senate is a HUGE win. Remember, the Senate confirms the Supreme Court justices, they hold the reigns on foreign policy (like approving treaties), confirming political appointees like Fed chairman,

I live in detroit; Gretch is great but you're right that we don't want to run a double female ticket. Unfortunately, America is definitely still too sexist for that. However, I don't think she's saying no to the vp position because she wants to run in the future necessarily. She's talked about how she loves state-level politics and doesn't have much interest in federal stuff. Now, it's entirely possible that she'll change her mind on that, but we'll see. Also, for context, the reason why her platform was fixing the roads is because republicans had been holding most of the power in michigan for over 3 decades, so the roads were DOGSHIT because they refused to spend anything on infrastructure. And she wasn't lying; I'm pretty sure every road in the goddamn state has been under construction at some point in the last 5 years, hahaha.
Also, Josh Shapiro might deliver Pennsylvania, but it'd almost certainly sink Michigan. They gotta be REAL careful around the Israel shit if they wanna take MI

We voted against gay marriage, legalizing weed, repealing a law that bans rent control, cutting prescription drug costs, and, as the chatter said, we allowed app based services to classify workers as independent contractors. We suck. And we suck for the same reason a lot of other people suck. Progressive measures get wildly outspent by rabid, disingenuous fearmongering campaigns.
