One of the biggest teams that gave me trouble in GAC was grievous. I could never get through him until I got wampa to relic and now I laugh when I see grievous on defense because wampa just smashed it every time
And that's really where the value is, he doesn't just solo teams, but teams a lot of people see
The best use for wampa is SEE, it does require decent mods so you don't get lapped too often and doesn't work against every composition, GG is amazing on attack I'm surprised so many still put him on def
Ad Rad's Omi is getting left behind. However, the Profundity gets 2 extra speed if the Omi is applied. I think that makes it worth applying.

I thought devs had said that you don't get speed from omicrons?
@@DTGeorge Unless it was recently patched, Ad Rad's Omi does increase the speed of his ship. Many people have confirmed it. Ahnald was able to record the speed change before and after applying the Omi.
@@theidiotlorian interesting. The devs had said when Ackbar Omi got released it doesn't affect speed
@@DTGeorge I remember that. I think the rule is if the Omi is level 9, it will never impact ship stats. Level 8 Omi could impact ship stats.
Great video. In defense of dash, he is my go to JML killer on offense. He has lost all defensive viability in K1, but still kills dumb AI teams

Plus Kyber 1 isn’t everyone. I never did dash and I don think it’s no longer a no brainer but still a pretty good omi.
Yeah the video was moreso aimed at my experience, he's much higher in an overall ranking

I finally got some use out of the FO pilot omicron, was stuck on the last team on the back wall, threw it as a last ditch attempt and they won very well! Its a good omicron just hard to know where their limits are. Chirpa is my wasted omicron, waste of time
Yeah I really don't hate FOTP omi, it's just aged poorly for my account
Wampa use for a 1st attack to get 78 or 79. Him vs GG or MM etc. I always look first to see where i can use him in my 1st attack.
That exactly why I put MM on the front line in gac, perfect wampa snack, then on the back wall Iden waits, without wampa she is a pain to deal with 😁
Dude i had no idea you were in my alliance lol. You gave me advice about an assault battle, your avatar looked familiar but i couldn't place it. Then that night i got on CZcams and your vids started popping up. Binged quite a few, very informative informative as our GP is about the same. Gear vids, and ya... you're phone knows everything you do, creepy.

Luminara with Qui-Gonn on offense has been pretty nice actually. Not often that it does the thing but when it does she's a bit of a nuke and keeps qui alive which keeps everyone else alive. Im only in the mid game right now but it's definately noticable
Luminara's Omicron works out great for me pared with another jedi as a leader in 5v5. It's stumping a lot of other teams, or makes them fight several battles before getting to my team in the back. I got her to early on, I'd say, but I'm glad I did. I'm middle game player btw.
What exactly is it stopping? Are you sure it isn't the rest of the team?
I wanna say, it's the extra speed, along with Qui Gon as leader with speed. The critical avoidance is a good thing as well with the extra heal over time....I play them as defense in gac. The other jedi were weaker than her and Qui. I've strengthened the other 3 more some now. They've been a headache for opposing teams for sure.
I have Luminara's Omicron too. It was working good with SK and Savage on defense for me in 3s. BUT, her omicron doesn't even work like it indicates. It doesn't clear all debuffs from the whole team, only her own and I noticed that a couple GACs ago using her on offense. So it's yet another broken facet of SWGOH.
I agree with fot and Krrrr, would be great to get them back. But I love my chirpa omi 😅

An idea CG could probably profit on: a new currency that allows you to detach and relocate zetas & omicrons. They can make it somewhat more accessible than zetas/omicrons materials or just make it an in-store purchase. In a way it'd feel like an instant omicron, when it's really not, and players might start applying more liberally.
I remember this idea for zetas way back in the day.
Here I am thinking I got something original lol. I'll spice it up then, CG, style: You can't pick the ability you remove, instead CG gives you three options at random or you can re-roll at a higher cost muahaha @@CalvinAwesome
Not advocating for the Lumi omi but it has been great for me as the SK 5th... in Aurodium.
Zam still is one very few options to two shot JMK without a GL and LV can be picked apart by other teams so it is still super relevant to me.
Also I don't feel like omis are a real bottleneck anymore since they stopped giving them to old characters. I only apply GAC and raid omis but I have pretty much all of them and still some saved.
My Ewoks timed out two JMLs last week btw 😂
I don't have any regrets, the one's I've got the least use out of has definitely been Merrin and Asajj. Only have them g12 though just sitting on defence. Will get around to relicing them probably the end of the year. Definitely doesn't help that I don't have all the zetas for the team. I have 19 atm, still no Wampa but that will be one of my next ones.
Yeah they'll get more use reliced and on offense, so probably just a matter of time

I think my Talon is the only Omi I regret. Although, my zam doesn't come off the bench for a lot of GAC rounds these days. I am curious, how are you using your CLS vs Jabba? I haven't had much success since the chewpio DC expired although I have heard others are succeeding.
I think it's my modding that's doing it. We did it 8/9 this 5s season. Grit lvl6 DC with armor pen is important too

I wanted Krennic’s to work well so bad… but it just doesn’t. Death Trooper always goes with Iden anyway. I’d love that one back.
It really seems like Krennic needs multiple Death Troopers to make any sense at all. I wish they would give him the ability to spawn a Death Trooper ally or something like that, at the very least. :(
I've tried and tried to make Lumi omi useful but it just never happened. The clause that keeps it from working with protection up made it DOA basically. She's maybe slightly helpful in a JML vs. LV fight and sometimes can recover a few banners but yeah, pretty much pure garbage.
Yeah, there's situations you can force her into to get something but she's just at large not needed

My only partial regret would be Darth Sidious. Yes, he's fairly good in a SEE team, but against the top tier teams, he just doesn't do it. His healing Immunity can be clutch, but again, against the higher tier GL lineups, it just doesn't matter.

I think Qui Gon deserves higher. He's one of the very few teams that can beat double Rex in 3v3
While I love him, I'm not sure if I could put him above any of the GL killers.
I use Luminara's omicron to get max banners on the starkiller counter to Rey.
Not saying that alone is worth it, but its not useless. I got assigned her as a ROTE platoon and thought, why not.
You should be able to do that if you pull the ship at the right time. Platoons is fair
I think the AdRad Omi is more for the Profundity boost.

Like yourself, I am not exactly rolling in omis. I have 29. Aside from FOTP who does get used every now and then, the one I find sitting on the bench at the end of most (if not all) GACs these days is actually Zam. She was great initally, but now BAM is usually in her spot.

What do you think of Ackbar Lead omi , to lead leftover Rolo+Cholo (R5 for Leia) + St Han + Pr Leia ? seems to stop wampa in insight
If you're trying to find a place for him, that'll work but I would not apply the omi for that team

Chirpa and FO Pilot are the one iI regret the most... luckily I dont have Luminara. Not a fan of Ackbar and Leia ones, although with the new datacrons they will shine for sure

I think FOTP is a good offensive omicron under Hux lead. Kind of low if you ask me. 😅

Unfortunately my Zam and Wampa aren't seeing much action these days. BH/Scoundrels doesn't use Zam no spot left and in high Kyber their or almost no Wampa team left

Mostly because I didn't have the proper mods for her and her Omi carries. I wouldn't argue it's ideal

If you use FBL the omi turns off completely
I'm surprised at the level of hate. I don't regret my lumicron at all. She works miracles with JML, and at this level JML really shouldn't be on defense and under AI control anyway. I can't tell you how many JML battles she's made full banner battles for me. The TM manipulation is the least of it. It's all about the protection regen and the mass cleanses. All you need is to get her a turn early and she takes off, and with good modding and hiding behind the best tank in the game that's not at all hard to do. I've been doing a lot of GL undermans lately with JML, JKL, and Lumi. Granted she's not the best omicron in the game. Far from it. But she does absolutely have a very viable use.
Yeah I guess I only use JML vs JMK and there's just no room for her there.
@CalvinAwesome she makes JML an LV killing machine. Full banner LV killing machine. With the current datacron set I'm using them to kill Jabbas too. Leias. Reys, obviously slkrs. You name it. SKs.
It's not GAC, but i really regret giving Finn an omicron. It was kind of fine on first or even second phase of LSGTB, but almost useless afterwards. Also, the whole reviving thing of the omicron is useless because 99% of the time your units get killed by droidekas and simply can't be revived.
Maybe with geared up Zorii the team will perform better, but we don't even play LSGTB no more, it's only ROtE, they're gonna be decimated here!

Luminara datacron isn't bad to say the least.
Luminara SK +1 is a great defensive team in 3v3.
Savage on that team is also great, constant healing and cleansing.
I ran Lumi under SK for a while, it didn't change anything. It's niche at best.
I tried the exact team you're referring to and it gets beat by Padmé/gideon
