I think the price increase is a combination of upper build (more panels/materials, 90's shoe construction), the addition of cushlon in the medial side, and a sprinkling of good old inflation and corporate greed. I wish they at least had a forefoot zoom puck
Them Luka 2 may be the best signature sneaker ever designed for jordan brand athlete it is absolutely a beautiful looking sneaker and leans towards performance and casual wear i love hope i be able to cop the Quai 54 colorway after i oay my bills in a few weeks and get my daughter sone back to school dunk lows if the first colorways of the Luka 2 are sokd out behind I'll just cop one of the next up colorways love the sneaker🔥
Luka 2 cushion way better than the 1, I am 86.5kg love jumping and for me the 2s fits me better. They not TTS they run a bit long, I wear 44.5 and I think I can still wear 44 if I need a really snug fit.
Luka 2 work better if you are train 4-5 times a week doing skills training and 2 games a week. Once the 1s had sweat soak in them they needed to dry completely or they felt like mush and the glue started to give away after 3 months of training.... I do have 5 pairs of the luka 1s to have a rotation but with the luka 2s i ony use 2 pairs and no performance issues
Havent played in my luka 1s yet...but the formula 23 just walking around is a bit underwhelming...maybe it will keep the foot fresher for longer but without some impact protection you wont be on the court longer anyway
UP half a size!? Nope. I just tried on my normal size (11.5) in store on one foot and down half a size (11) on the other foot and my normal size had an inch of space in the toe box. These shoes run long, definitely do NOT go half size up unless you have a crazy wife foot.
I wonder if this shoe design and release was rushed? The price doesnt make sense and the aesthetics of the shoe seems all over the place, where as the Luka 1 is clean minimal look. The quality of nike shoes are becoming worse (IMO) vs WOW, Li-Ning. Just a thought

Great traction. Even on dust but durability is sus. Slightly firm midsole. Bouncy and responsive. Trash laces. Good lockdown. Tts or halfsize down.

I think that there is a lot of things L1 is better at but the L2 is still a decent performer (Also first gang🎉)
