Hi Abby, Can't wait to hear your "roundup" of all the foundations! I like the regular LM on you. For myself I find if something is too Illuminating it tends to show pores and texture where as a satin finish is much more smoothing, then of course if it's "too" matte it can look horrible and dry. I need that happy medium. I have been very interested in this new foundation.

I have been wearing the LM tinted moisturizer for years and I also wear BLUSH. It’s my go to TM I love how it feels on my skin.i tried the illuminating one and it made my pores look huge. I like the regular on ur face better also. Looks great.
I am 66 today and a piece of info I got a few years ago was that warm/yellow undertone foundation does help the older/mature skin and she was right...great video thank you

I just got the LM tinted moisturizer in blush as well.. I really like how it makes my skin look as I don’t particularly like full coverage foundation..I think it looks beautiful on you! ❤️

I will have to try this tint..eventually.I love all the makeup products that you used...some of my favorites..Chanel, looove the stylos have so many of them. Repurchased purple choc after you mentioned it. I had run out and not repurchased it. It is beautiful, thank you

I can understand your frustrations with figuring out your colors and undertones. This is all part of determining what season you are as well. It seems like I’ve done this so many times myself. I think it’s the undertones that makes it confusing. What I do understand is if your veins aren’t blue or green than your undertone is neutral. Also if you can wear gold and silver, you have neutral undertone. This is my difficult. Sometimes I look warm and other times cool. I so appreciate what you mean. I’m sure with every foundation it might be different as well. It’s so difficult plus we have our winter foundations to make this even all that more confusing. 💜💜💜 Don’t throw out your foundations Abby. Make them work. I am liking your left side better now that I watched the entire video. It looks like a great product for you.

Abby both sides look good but I agree that the regular one is better. Many years ago I too was all out with the LM Flawless Face- I wore the tinted moisturizer and a Laura Mercier artist suggested that I purchase the illuminated version to use on the high points of my face only- she felt it was too glowy all over. I wore it that way for years. We now have so many beautiful highlighters available such as the Charlotte Tilbury I wouldn’t rebuy it.

You look wonderful! I suggest that you try to keels your bronzer in the outer side of the your face, and avoid putting it on your cheeks. It makes your blush a bit muddy, and your face already has great definition and beautifully defined bone structure. 💕

Hi, Abby. I love the regular, improved Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer on your left side. I find it has slightly better (natural) coverage while remaining radiant. Both sides, however, are lovely. Even the packaging is more attractive to me. Probably outdoor lighting will cast its vote. (Uhhh, the sunshine truth serum.☀️) Perhaps I’m partial to the color shade on the left? Hmmm.🤔
For years, I used only the oil free LM Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain. (I even noticed she slightly darkened porcelain one year.) Then recently I was excited to try it again because my rosacea seemed to be under control. That’s when I found out I had become sensitive to chemical sunscreen filters. Sad ...because I so love the look.

I’m in the same boat - cool, neural, but get put in yellow based to cancel redness. Probably the most neutral I can think of that looks good on me is Bobbi Brown in Beige - I was playing with MAC water weight, then tried the Bobbi serum foundation, and WOW - it sinks in, looks dewy but not greasy and it can be put on with brush or fingers. It’s SPF 46 I think - I thought the MAC looked good and brightening, but couldn’t put my finger on what wasn’t perfect until I did half a face with both and realized the MAC was sitting on my skin (no matter what primer, lotion, or straight onto skin, AND it gives me orange peel pores around my cheeks!! I’m kicking myself because I made it through Labor Day sale of 25% off with a full size lipstick, blush, or eyeshadow (not cheap for each one. Less than a week later I’m splurging on BB at Nordstrom.
Do you get fallout from the hourglass eyeshadow? I had Ray and would get glitter all over my cheeks and when I washed my face I had a TON of glitter underneath my eyes. I’d love to have 1/16th of her collection. Have you tried Tom Ford blushes and what do you think if you have?

On camera I really prefer the illuminating side substantially better. Maybe it’s the color I like better? It brightens up your face! The lipgloss is really lovely! My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family.

I also think the regular LM tinted moisturizer looks the best on you. I'm a regular viewer of Michelle Wang (she's great) and that's how I found you. I think we are quite similar in our coloring and skin type, so you've been super helpful. I recently purchased the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer because I was almost out of my Lancome tinted moisturizer and I wanted to try something new. I like the formula. And I use it most of the time when I'm home and just running errands. I also purchased a Laura Mercier Stickgloss (Poppy) to try out and I liked it enough to consider buying another one. I've looked at the Tom Ford products, but honestly, the price point is just a bit too high. But the lipgloss you chose is pretty (just not $55 worth of pretty).

Hi Abby, I love the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and have used it for many years. After trying so many foundations, I always go back to LM tinted moisturizer. Just curious if they used the Sephora machine to read the color match or if they swatched your face with the foundation? I to have been matched with so many different color tones and it’s confusing to say the least. Thanks again for a great review!
Melinda- they have done the Sephora machine before but it always puts me in shades two shades darker than I really am... even the Sephora people told me not to go by that. LOL! She just matched me directly in store and it was actually a Laura Mercier Rep who was in house that day. So I am hoping a good match : )
Abby I so understand about the colour of foundations!!! I have been put in all three tones too! lol Now , with age , I get a lot of oxidizing on the face .... so I have to get samples ...... so irritating ! I am going to check out that Mercier and try to get a sample... looks good and I like your eye look today too :)

Kathy-the Chanel Aqua has a smidge more coverage than the LM Tinted Moisturizer. The LM Tinted Moisturizer is more moisturizing and the Chanel is a watery consistency. I hope this helps. xoxo

You're right Abby, the regular tinted version has enough radiance, you don't any extra illumination! 🙆 I got the regular tinted version too, and so far has no reactions with the mix of chemical sunscreens....

Love the whole look Abby, I think I like the side with the normal Tinited moisturiser the illuminating side is very illuminating, I think it would probably make me look super oily and my skin is normal at the moment. I too prefer the regular tint on you and for myself! How does this compare to the LM silk cream foundation as far as coverage? I know the tinted moisturizer is probably lighter and I too prefer a light to medium coverage. Thank you for another informative video. I just wish I had seen it before the weekend as I bought the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue tinted hydration gel (that’s a mouth full). As I’ve aged (nearly 63🥴) my skin has changed and I feel like when it comes to coverage less is more so I’ve ditched foundation for now. I’m sure I will find a reason (excuse) to try this one!! I hope you are looking after yourself at this sad time please know there are many of us out here thinking of you!🥰

Hi Abby! Both tinted moisturizers suit you. I guess it is your personal preference on whether you prefer glowy or matte look. I suppose Titanium Oxide and some other ingredient are present in anything that promises radiance and glow. Again you look fab in either formula!🥰

I have a pink /cool undertone but if I use a foundation in that combo I only become more rosy! So I always choose a neutral or warm to balance it out and it seems to work. It’s a confusing game isn’t it? 😂

Hi Abby....Yesterday i have to tell you what i did....ALL day......i did tests from Bloomingdales to Nordstroms...to sephora...with every foundation you reviewed and every foundation Michele reviewed. I had a list...and i had a field day with all my questions....radiance, moisture . Guess what....I even found the surrat NOT glowy at all compared to the
( Lune + Aster..Cover + Correct Tinted Moisturizer) from blue mercury... ....my #1 . for me. .....
There is something in the Lune + astor that totally won out.!!!. coverage and radiance.....everyone talks about the new surrat., sisley, guerlain........NOPE......... with the surrat i loved the dropper....and look of it...but....i was so surprised......that L +A won out!!! ..wow...i was so disappointed ...ready to buy surrat .....I had to tell you....

Hi Abby, I have been wanting to ask you (I apologize if you've already covered this topic) do you have any suggestions for teeth whitening? Your teeth are so beautiful and white (but not too white-they are natural looking) and I have no idea what to use. Due to my blueberries, green tea and chocolate ... my teeth are in need of some serious whitening. I tried a few years ago...I got the custom made trays and whitening from my dentist and I had the absolute worst gum and nerve pain I have ever experienced .... soooo I was so afraid after that experience that I never whitened them again. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you so much. :-) PS...These Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers look so pretty on you...but I don't like to use chemical sunscreen ingredients...especially octinoxate and oxybenzone from what I read about them on EWG.org. Thank you again.
Julie A- I totally get not wanting to use the chemical sunscreens and do avoid them for the most part. As far as teeth whitening - you are WAY to nice. I was just thinking I should try to use some whitening strips. I too- got the special trays from my dentist and burned my gums off and hated the process but loved the results. I do use Colgate Optic White toothpaste and think it helps. I hope this helps and I have been tinkering with this Charcoal Toothpaste- amzn.to/31gSi9n

I’ve been using a Tata Harper illuminating moisturizer to pump up some of my foundations to give a glassier day look. I think that’s what that illuminating Mercier is doing. I returned the regular version...it settled too matte on me. Perhaps just not a good base color. That’s the thing with my Chanel I use. The color is just perfect. Same with Tom Ford. I think I need that blurry mauve you have on your eyes. Love that! xo
Jennifer- I think I may have that one in my stash and will pull it out again. And again- I think I need to try this Vitalumiere -- what shade are you? I don't think we are a match right? And yes, you definitely need the Blurry Mauve! I wear it all the time!! xoxo
Abby Bliss White sorry I was shopping! Haha. Picked up some kind of triple cream thingy at Chanel and playing with lipglosses. The Vitalumiere moisture riche, I’m 07 Ivoire which is the lightest shade and I pair it with their le Blanc brightening makeup base to get my sunscreen. I know that sounds really light but it’s by no means my fairest foundation. The girl at the counter says the colors are quite forgiving.
I’m “linen” in the TF stick for reference.

Rosa María Vélez Same here ! I like to mix my LM illuminating tinted moisturiser ( Bare Radiance ) w almost all my foundations ( Tom Ford stick & Chanel ) . Gives good radiant finish w/o looking too heavy . I haven't tried new LM yet bc I prefer the illuminating formula on skin as its v hydrating . Looking forward to Abby's roundup

Great idea-- the mixing! I always forget about that excerpt do try to use the EsteeLauder Futurist foundation as a mixer in very small measure, to give others a tiny bit of glow, since to me, that shiny foundation is completely unwearable on its own🤔

I like the illuminating side better
Funny just used the old formula LM yesterday and the color was too light for this time of year for me. I too can never get the shades right because my skin is all over the place. Didn't know they changed the formula but had heard the packaging had changed. Didn't know that the Glo had a bronzer and blush. Did you like them as the day wore on? I love the powdered cleanser. And yes I love Tom Ford as well and yes the gloss is too expensive but it sure does feel good on. Frantic is very pretty and one of my favorite colors in the new ones.
Jill- they glosses are gorgeous - I just had my eye on a few OTHER colors but was trying to be GOOD and now, of course, wish I had one of the other colors. I am just crazy! And yes, I love the bronzer and blush. I am doing a video on the 17th with those products and will keep you posted on longevity. xoxo

Finally got my Surratt Dew Drop foundation and love it. Feels so soft and like having nothing on but it does what I need it to do. And NO FRAGRANCE which is perfect. My new favorite.

I purchased from Cos Bar and they have the old formula and I wanted another of the Guilt which is my holy grail lip gloss. have Sahara Pink, Tawny Pink and the new Frantic..lol I am a lip gloss addict. I tend to wear them more then lipsticks.

LOL! True. True!! OMG! I freaking love that mascara and wish I did not. I only buy them during mascara madness at Nordstrom but for some reason- I use the mascara daily so don't feel as bad. But with lippies- I have a million!!! xoxo
That mascara is the ultimate! It actually looks like I have curled my lashes when I use it. (For reference, my lashes are as straight as cow bangs.😉) It’s unlike any mascara I have tried. Good to know Nordstrom has a “Mascara Madness” event. I had practically given up on wearing mascara until trying this gem.

I prefer the first one the regular as it looks more natural. The illuminating looks fake. Excellent product but it still looks fake. In my personal opinion. Many thanks for your review.
Hi Abby, Please don't hate me, but I don't like that concealer on you at all. It makes me realize how much I prefer you in the Chanel Rose under eye and the Giorgio Armani concealers. I do love the Glo Bronzer and Blush.

As a 53 year old woman... I appreciate you! One small suggestion! It would have been nice just to see you use only the tinted moisturizer and not use concealer. It makes it difficult to get a sense of houe it would look on its own... Especially since you used the concealer on your face. So it's more of a review of the combination. You have nice skin! You don't need to cover it up so much! Anyway just my 2 cents.
Yes- sorry about that Tracy. The Laura Mercier rep put it on my face like that and I was sort of duplicating the look she did because I thought it looked good but for REVIEW purposes- I should not have put so much on. I apologize. xoxo
I’m kind of disappointed- I really wanted to see how the newly formulated tinted moisturizer would be, but I think you used so much concealer that it was like another foundation on top. You do you, of course, but I didn’t get the info I was hoping for...
