Live Modular Synth Jam Sessions - Lost in Modulation Episode 06 - Back on the block

  • A few days ago I took my modular Stuff and my recording unit back to my studio to gain a new kind of working structure after having been isolated at home with my wife. That means working and living in a quite small appartment - which demands something from both of us giving away even more space for the other person.
So this Live Modular Synth Jam Session I did when I had rebuild my setup in my studio . . .

This is the first video that I see people using massive amounts of modular synthesizer to make truly remarkable and beautiful music instead of looping sounds. This is beautiful, so beautiful. I just feel it’s worth it to play modular stuff if I can make something like this.

I must say this, because I've been watching this particular jam for about 7 months now. It's like therapy for me, this one is the best comparing this to any other jams (your other jams are also very very good, but this one is something different). It hits me with nostalgia, feelings from the past, but doesn't make me sad, it makes me happy. It just makes me feel, that there's always something new and amazing coming and not to give up. Thank you, very very much

I listened to this so many times, that I finally decided to buy a Korg Volca keys and start jamming . I don't have any background in music theory, but I design and make bitsy games, and deep down I always felt a need to start making simple analog tunes. Thanks a lot for this masterpiece :D
