-Purple Kiss are under the same label as Mamamoo, and they write/compose a lot of their own songs. their main rapper is japanese but writes all of her raps which i think is super impressive
-most of STAYC's music is made by a producer duo Black Eyed Pilseung which have made soooo many hits in korea (apink, twice, sistar, chungha)
they are both rising groups, especially stayc since theyve garnered a ton of attention in korea and are expected to be the next big thing!
'It just got better and better and better' is how I feel about Stayc in general. I just like them more and more every time they come back.
Purple kiss has such a great discography and they write most of their stuff. They're definitely worth checking out!

BAE173 is a group that debuted in 2020! so far they have 3 title tracks : Crush On U, Loved You, and JAWS. CoU & Loved You concepts are definitely very different with JAWS concept (so please prepare yourself if you want to check more about them! 😄)
Purple Kiss is talented Rookie from the same label as Mamamoo and ONEUS. They all actively participate in song writing, producing, composing, choroe making, etc. Swan has one of the most unique voices in kpop and she did the guide vocal for Chungha Snapping when she was 15. Yuki, the rapper is the most credited 4th gen female rapper after Soyeon of Gidle. Goeun and Jieun were on Produce 48. It's just 7 talented af idol came together. Their concept are always different. OH MY GOD PURPLE KISS FINALLLLYY
This comeback is probably their most R&B title and one thing I might have to highlight about them is their famous synchronization dance!!!! (they got second place after seventeen from a computer-generated synchronization ranking!). They have this very interesting and complex lore throughout their title songs! Also, they started off with a super bright, youthful concept with 'jack-swing' sounds (as what themselves explained) in their debut but then gradually got more mature and complex in their messages and musically.
Title songs recommendations that I think you would like: Get Away, From Now, Lay Back, Thunder, Tag Tag Tag (a music video reaction might be needed for this one because of the 'hidden' message ehhehheheheheheeh)
They are a 7 member group and all of them are suuppeerrr talented. A+ title songs and b-sides, they have one of the best discographies in kpop ngl. They got so many beautiful song covers, both for showing their vocal and dance! (I recommend Gyehyeon's song cover on Bambi by Baekhyun! It's soooo good). They also have this youtube content called 'Verivery Land' which shows their major comedian sides with a top-notch editing.

absolutely would love to see a deep dive of purple kiss if you have the time!! that was their second comeback so they only have two title tracks (plus a few predebut releases and some singles!) and mvs for their intro songs crown, illusion, and freaky purky. definitely recommend at least intro crown if you can’t get to all of them, that intro was the perfect segue into ponzona imo :,)

Thank you so much for checking out these groups! ❤️ BAE173 (pronounced B-A-E 173, like each letter individually) debuted at the end of 2020 and only have 3 title tracks so far, but each one has a completely different sound and the members have nailed it every time no matter what the concept. Two of the members, Hangyul (long gray/blonde hair) and Dohyon (black hair, blonde bangs) used to be in a group called X1 with Woodz, and Dohyon has a ton of writing and composing credits already even though he’s the maknae and was born in November 2004.
The green-haired member who wrecked you is main dancer Muzin, and he did a cover of Kai’s Peaches a few months ago that you may enjoy checking out on your own time! They also did an OT9 cover of NCT’s 7th Sense which is incredible, as well as maybe my favorite cover of Seventeen’s Very Nice I’ve ever seen. I could talk about BAE173 forever haha but thank you again so much for giving them a listen! They’re awfully underrated so I was really excited to see you react to them and I’m so glad you enjoyed the song 🥰

Okay, Caitlin, so Jaws is BAE173's second comeback, totally different from their previous song. Even as an ELSE (their fandom), I feel attacked and overwhelmed! I recommend you check their debut song, which is Crush on U (this one is a fresh and catchy song), and my favorite song is Loved You (2nd gen vibes, it's a bop think you're gonna like this one too).
They are also known to have a high dance synchronization; you can check out their dance practice and dance cover if you have some time. BAE173 did an NCT U - 7th sense (they ate that) and AESPA - SAVAGE. You will not regret it; it's so satisfying. As a pre-debut boy group, they already stole attention with BTS - I Need U performance in Immortal Songs 2.
A bit of background story, you Woodz is an X1 member? In BAE173, we have Hangyul and Dohyon. Hangyul and Dohyon have a sub-unit which is H&D, and their song is also fire! For H&D, I think Umbrella will suit your taste because.... well, you need to find out on your own.

tbh bae173 hangyul is one of the best 4th gen dancers, he was once a member of X1 but they disbanded. They were so big in korea and internationally. They still have records and u can still see their name in the "top 10 4th gen groups" their achievments are big for a 6 month group. I think they still hold the highest wins in 1 song for a 4th gen bg, their debut album had 600k preorders and i think it was surpassed last year.

You should definitely check out more of Verivery, they've had a storyline going throughout all their MVs that started with their release Tag Tag Tag. O is a part of that storyline as well. The reason Kangmin was the only one IDed is because he just turned 19 (20 in Korean age) so he came of age in Korea. So through their MV they express this with him being in the driver's seat of the car, with the cupcake, and him finally being able to go to things those of age can.

OH MY GOD PURPLE KISS REACTION YESYEYS ive been with them since predebut and it's been such a rollercoaster of emotions seeing them debut their first comeback and they constantly come back with diverse concepts it's crazy i love them so much also!!!!! all of their music especially their b-sides are SOOO good and im so grateful they have creative control over their music n choreographies T__T love them the most 💜
also stayc!!! was there since debut and they just keeping putting out hits!!! really love these two groups like Wow. 2021 kept putting out hit ggs.... ALSO if you do check out pixy i will be there but no pressure shbdjhdhd please always put yourself first 💕
In regards the BAE173, the guy whose voice you said was pretty 😂 him and their main rapper/maknae had a duo before BAE173, called HnD. They formed it together after they were in PDX101's project group, X1. So if you want more specific music, you can look there. I think you'll really enjoy their music. But BAE173 has no bad song honestly. Though their debut was more cutesy and their comeback had hella 2nd gen vibes. They also do many dance covers as well as vocal! I hope you enjoy them!

And yes, so much Hangyul and Dohyon full on singing -- I miss that so much! When I first heard of them I was skeptical that I could like them as a duo as much as I like BAE173 as a group.

The song is bound to be a bop because the producers they have are known to be hitmakers( black eyed pilsung for anyone that is going to look them up). This type of song is actually a first for them, their earlier releases are all a lot stronger and the rap parts are a lot more aggressive but I personally think that this song suits them a lot and I'm glad you like it :) Verivery are actually releasing their first full album on April 25th, so maybe you could check that out in another catch up :D
