It's a bit big for my needs most of the time - my typical setup is hats, ride, crash/ride, splash - but it looks like a great bag. As someone who on rare occasions uses multiple hi-hats and multiple splashes, I appreciate the separate splash compartment. I mostly use a Humes & Berg 22" Tuxedo bag for gigging; being a narrow bag made to hold only 3 cymbals plus hi-hats, it was significantly more affordable than their full-width Tuxedo bags, and it does the trick for a small jazz setup.
For sure, I like the Mono bag because of all the support and padding/protection it offers my back and the cymbals!
Thanks for the upload and detailed info. 😀I have been thinking about one of these bags but it concerns me that you've basically had two of them and both times ( if I'm not mistaken?!) the base has split in the same place? It sounds like you carry a lot more cymbals though- I would only be carrying hats, a 20/22" ride and a 18" crash plus sticks so maybe it would hold out longer. My question is- is this a weakness overall in the bag or just purely because you were carrying more stuff inside it? I would be buying from a UK distributer so if I encounter the same problem, would Mono help me out? I am assuming they are based in the US.

I need a single bag that will accommodate 100+ splash cymbals. Do they make something to fit my needs?
We talking 100+ as in like, 107? Or 100+ like 2,530,881 splash cymbals? It’ll probably do either to be honest
