Since I travel a lot many of my costumes are made for the transportation in a suitcase. Here you'll find some short explanations how I manage to put even my biggest armors into the plane. I also had never problems at the airport since everything the scanners see are just harmless plastics maybe.
Also check out my channel for more costume tutorials!

At 0:47 I was like "Nooo!!! The pretty cosplay!!! Careful woman It could brake!"
But I guess i should have had more faith in your craftsmanship. lol.
They must be pretty durable because I've seen you throw armor down and toss them across the room and the'll be fine. Grant it I still have a mini heart attack every time you do it. lol
hehe bubblewrapped Kamui :D Kamui is more valuable than armor and also more playful, so bubblewrap is a must
I think what she means is, that even if the staff sees that there are easy breakable items in your suitcase, they often won't handle it with extra care. And the guys who throw your lugage into the airplane (I once saw how they do it...the horror!) don't even have an idea whats inside. As far as I know suitcases only get opnend if there are security reasons (like odd looking stuff on the screen or a strange smell).
Omg, you are so cute, funny and most of all..talented! It's so much fun watching your tutorials even I don't do cosplay anymore. Thank you for making my day :)
Awesome Video! Thanks for the subtitles!
I love this! You are so adorable, but really clearly smart about all of this stuff.
Kamui is so cute and talented! I look up to her so much. Thanks for the video, Kamui!
Love the video Kamui! Very funny, too.
Wir lieben doch alle Luftpolsterfolie. :D
Kamui you look so pretty in this video and super informative! Thank you!!
Even without subs it`s pretty clear, thanks very much!
Cool costumes :p
Love your videos! this was very helpful in particular, as I am making a large piece cosplay. How do you carry your larger weapons props around the con? Do you make a back or hip strap when you need to go hands-free?
I use only the best hot glue brand for my hair care! :)
Love your work!
You're so adorable! I hope to make a full armor cosplay someday, all the way down to the lights like on yours.
I really like the fact that you manage to make your videos both informative and funny. Now where did I put that bubble wrap?
You are a great idol! You're too adorable for words! Keep on being awesome.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't resist playing with bubble pack hahaha !!
Thanks for this useful video ! I already broke a costume because of I hadn't a big suitcase, just a sport bag... it's very easy to break things in the public transports >
your accent is so cool. Your videos are inspiring as well. thanks
+TheCanadianDaily Thanks! 😁
hahaha dat bubble wrap! you're amazing!
Awesome video, though you when you want to ship a BIG costume, other methods are also needed.
Love your spirit :D
Youre beautiful, I love your accent.Amazing costume and crafting skills. Congratulations for your blizzcon prize!
you are freaking adorable
@KamuiCosplay, maybe a remake of this vid?
To where you wanna send yourself, in that BubbleWrap? :)
Thanks for these travelling tips also usefully for Storage at home.
great that you've got subtitles but i'll understand and speak german aswell
My tlhIngan bat'leth needs a special Case.
Du bist sehr sympathisch^^
Brava e Molto Bellaa !
Kamui if we have a large sword like alibabas sword from magi, how would we transport that? since the blade is the main length and it would be awkward to have it separate in the middle of the blade.
Amazing work! You are so cute! So fun... Wonderful inspiring videos Thank you :)
Not only do you make awesome stuff you're also a babe!
Wow! Awesome! :D
i've never done this before but i plan to fly with my armor in the near future so i have a question. when you said "the staff at the airport won't treat the costumes in your suitcase very careful so don't save money in that point" ....... do they open the case and unwrap all the items and inspect it all?? O_O; i just wanna know exactly what you meant~~ i know that people at the airport can be rough with bags..
Super Video!
Lol, love the bubble wrap. XD
Geht mir genauso! :( Hast du inzwischen etwas gefunden?
It should work now. :)
Wow , ein Video auf deutsch 😍
I can't activate subtitles :'(
Dear Kamui, or anyone else who is knowledgable, How do you do the nut & bolt for staff pieces at 1:45? I tried doing this method with PVC pipes and it was not flush no matter how even I tried making it, and it was not sturdy. I'm thinking of remaking it with a wooden rod instead.
Also I am a big fan and love your videos! :)
A good way to make it seem flush is to add detailing in such a way that it overlaps the seam created by the threading so you cant see it
Ehemann ;)
LG :)
You're so nutty - I love it :D
too cute.
If you make the second type of breastplate/armor (which has a back) how do you get in that? I wonder if in craftmanship cosplay competitions will they give less points if I have the first type? (which has not got a full back) Thank you for your answer! (Or anybody's answer :D) Keep up the good work! ^^
playing at 0.75 speed to stand a chance of understanding the german
Uh oh... Maybe I should have watched this before getting most of my pieces built big and bulky! :P
Hallo Kamui,
Lg :)
You are an awesome woman!
Lol.
what about a shield??

How do u activate the sub ? On a phone
Look in the upper right corner. Tap the three dots icon, and a menu will pop up, one that says 'CC' and you press that to get subtitles.
Subtitles are still not working for me?
