- In our Soul Session 7, Media Personality Dwayne Extol lays himself bare, chronicling his bout with depression, struggling with the death of his Dad when he was 10, to his dreams being dashed approximately two years ago. He emotionally discloses how one friend, in particular, saved him from thoughts of ending his life, and discusses his journey of refocusing and rebuilding, even as he continues to work to 'figure it all out'.

My thoughts exactly when I saw him.
So Simone I heard about your show on Dion Jackson's Radio show and the clip she played with Dwayne made me want to see the show. I have to tell you I am so proud of this presentation. It is raw and pulls at the emotions of the viewer. Who would have thought Dwayne, someone I admire on TV, is coming from such a dark place? To see the support he received from not only family but good friends, real good friends, is the anchor that keeps his ship afloat this turbulent journey called life. I found that with depression, one of the most important things you could realize is that you're not alone. Thank you for this excellent edutainment that will only empower our people to rise above the squalid place our history has placed us. Blessings
As a young man i am so appreciative of your courage to tell a part of your journey and your mission to mentor other young people thank you for sharing , I am a cry woman so tears was streaming down my face, my son called almost at the end, my one son so i told him what i was watching. Very very good session Simone. We needed a program like this for so long; God bless you on your journey. Dwayne’s openness and honesty in sharing his story was not just inspirational but motivational. Mental illnesses are real and it’s ok to personally admit that it exists and that it’s not a respecter of person. I am longing for the day when Jamaica even like here in Canada can be more increasingly invested, active and promotional about mental illnesses. Dwayne, I pray for you brother and know your story has found a special place in this world. You have overcome and will continue just remain positive and focus; having the right circle around you. For when the grass withers and the flowers fades the words of God will be the same, His word is pure
You are still here, when you think you have no one and no one care, trust and see how many shoulders are there to help carry you, so you have life here on earth for a reason, to be a guide and mentor to the weak and use your journey as a platform and stepping stone to be a light to others

Our parents, parents parents and grandparent and even great great great grandparents dabble in spiritual warfare and may or may not know that these covenants came in agreement with familiar spirits
So practice prayer, fasting, meditation and deepening your identity in God through Christ Jesus. For we are His righteousness in God through Christ Jesus, created to know Him, worship Him, be in obedience to Him, accept His Will, and principles and laws
