  • This session was recorded as part of the Young Leaders Move the Dial virtual workshop, June 1, 2024.
Our minds and bodies are intimately connected, and incorporating accessible healthy movement into our day to day lives has been shown to have a positive effect on mental health and well-being. Join Canadian Paralympians and athletes to hear about how and why they choose to move and how it benefits them in a myriad of ways. Panelists include National Blind Hockey player and coach Conrad Eder, judoka Eitel Houedakor, goalball Parapan Am bronze medalist Emma Reinke and retired Paralympic swimmer Donovan Tildesley.
The Young Leaders Program is proudly presented by RBC Future Launch, Johnson & Johnson & Rhythm Pharmaceuticals

Fighting Blindness Canada (FBC) is Canada’s leading private funder of vision research. We offer hope to Canadians by identifying the best, most promising research that is driving treatments and cures for blinding eye diseases, and by raising and stewarding funds to support this essential, sight-saving research.
