"Do I show the boring stuff?" Personally, I watch vlogs to see what someone's day is actually like so I say go for it! Like you said, it's relatable, and it's the small things that make the vlogs so interesting! ❤️

Video request: Day in the life of Brody or Chase
Put a go pro camera on him and keep the vlog camera on him. Then when you make the video switch between the footage
Just some constructive criticism- it’s SO great that you’re able to bring Brody almost everywhere you go as social interactions are important for him, but it’s equally as important that he knows how to be home alone, especially now as a puppy. There’s going to be times when you can’t bring him with you or you have to board him at a kennel, find a pet sitter, etc. It’s best to start leaving him home now for an hour or so and work up to longer increments of time so he is comfortable when left alone. As he gets older he won’t be able to adjust as easily especially if that’s not what he is used to and can lead to anxiety. I know from personal experience as I know someone that took their puppy everywhere and when she was left alone she didn’t adjust well to the change because it was so uncommon. Just a little tip that I think is important to work on!
Adding in that you don't even necessarily have to start off by leaving the house--enforced naps in the crate while you're in another room or right outside is a good stepping stone!
Just to add it is possible she is already doing this and just doesn’t chose to share. I’m sure there is a lot she keeps private!
So glad you said something! I’ve tried to comment that but she hasn’t done it yet I get so nervous because the poor dog is going to have separation anxiety

@@FloraGoodman oh yeah not at all meant as criticism, she's doing a killer job with him and we obviously don't see her full life! But the key word is enforced--making the pup nap before they fall asleep on their own or go into the crate.
I can listen to you all day everyday, I enjoy any style of content you put out. Whether it's work outs with Chase, or talking the whole vlog. That's fun to me to see and why I subscribed to you years ago and that you've kept it consistent.
Get the dog a seatbelt. My boyfriend is a firefighter and he has gone to many scenes where dogs were ejected and escaped or ejected and didnt make it. Plus the dog becomes a 30-100lb projectile in the car to hit passengers. You buckle you AND the dog in for safety. We use sleepypod seatbelt. Crates are also a good idea if it strapped down to the car.
If you are looking for a good seatbelt for dogs look at Good2Go. I use it for my 20 week old black lab and all you do is buckle the actual seatbelt and loop the dog one around and you hook it to their harness. They can still sit on your lap in the passenger seat! My boyfriend always holds my dog and he is still strapped in!
Puppy life is the best life! My boyfriend and I have a 1 year old white Shiba Inu and she brings us so much joy ❤️

I love all of your videos, even during the times when you may consider it to be "boring". But when we get to see all the aspects of your day, it's more relatable. I would like to see more of your workouts and meals. Recently listened to your last few eps of the podcast and your view on your relationship with food is soooo helpful right now. On that food, exercise, self love journey more than ever right now! Also best of luck on the move! I've lived in the Allentown/Pocono/Harrisburg region all my life. Can't wait to see Max, Brody, and your adventure into the new chapter of your lives!

A fun video would be, my family chooses my outfits for the day, so someone picks your workout outfit, another person your rest of the day outfit, another one your date night outfit etc... I think it would so much fun to watch :)

Hey Gretchen!!! I just wanted to say I saw your dog go swimming with his collar and I have a dog too, he loves to swim. He’s a white lab and we got him a beaded collar so when he goes swimming it just rolls on his neck. We tried the fabric ones but didn’t do it. So you should really try it. Love you girl so much😘❤️

Hi Gretchen!! I can tell that you and Max are great dog parents and that Brody will have such an amazing, spoiled life!! I just wanted to say that since Brody is a golden retriever, I urge you to know the signs and symptoms of bloat (aka twisted stomach)!! Goldens are for some reason more at risk to bloat and maybe you already know the signs since you grew up with Great Danes and they are also one of the breeds more at risk. I’m not trying to be a vet and tell you what you need to do, but bloat is a very serious condition and can occur for absolutely no reason at all!!
