Good deal Patrick. Glad those strange pumpkins worked out. I have a lot of respect for you doing a lot of this by yourself. I was doing the same thing for a few years, loaded a lot of produce out of the field by myself, and marketed it by myself. I hope to get back into it one day. Working at a chemical plant now. Still grow some produce and share it with my coworkers who are always amazed at how good local fresh produce is.
Growing produce for profit is not easy. In my journey and in that of others I have talked to it takes multiple failure seasons to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Grow your produce out of pocket and not on borrowed money. Start small and figure out all the issues you will encounter before scaling up. Most importantly grow something that is in high demand and short supply in your area.
Did you try the pumpkins yet? I'm curious what they taste like. I'm trying 2 new varieties of squash this fall. Tennessee sweet potato squash and Bush acorn. Neither the acorn or sweet potatoes can manage the bugs here in Central Fl.. So, trying a whole new ball game! I planted all of the seeds last weekend. The Tenn. sweet pot's came up in 3 days, and have true leaves today. I'm just enjoying watching them grow. Thanks, Patrick!
Howdy Patrick gonna be highs in the 80s low in the 60s in north Tx this week and rain
Sounds nice. We’re going to have highs from 85-91 with 40% chance thunderstorms most days.
Enjoyed the video Patrick. God bless
Thanks for watching Greg.

We did make pumpkin pie last Sunday. It was delicious, but a lot of work to turn fresh pumpkin into pumpkin pie.
What varieties do you grow?
Where do you get your bulk seed?

Patrick can you do a deer harvest video to show viewers about herd management.
As we roll on into fall there will be more deer harvest content.
