I replayed it more like 40 times already. Its simply returned to its good old Forza days from Xbox.

nice racing, one tip. it is always faster to not over drive entry into corner so you have max speed on exit. you over drive entry alot, just slow down your entry and you will get better.
Just from what I'm seeing, this is soooo much better than Gran Turismo 7. And I'm not saying that as a rabid Xbox fan, I have no horse in the console war race. I like all 3 consoles and PC. But while GT7 was the biggest disappointment I've experienced, this game just seems so much more well put together. The presentation, the visuals, even little details like the audience are so convincing. Turn 10 really outdid themselves with this one.
I'm also a UI guy, I design UI's for a living, so I always admire the work devs put into the UI for their games, and the UI here is just stunning. Some might say it's overly simple, but it's still eye catching and sleek. Everything pops, the scene transitions/loading screens, it all just looks so damn good.
By the way you can skip Practice, Just hidden and never mentioned (work it out in part 3)

Hi GameRiot. Here again almost 4 months after Nijigasaki NEXT SKY SEASON 3 OVA and i am in love already with Forza Motorsport 8! Even me and Coco Hayashi still love these car sounds and cockpit views in this game.

Plz dont leave out the practis! I love to see the improvement you make! When I drive I often use all the time and not just the 3 laps. When you skip or cut it from the video i feel cheated and annoyed, (People who dont want to see practis can just skip ahead.)
The option your looking for in the menu is "mini leader board" it's set by default for Multi-player only. Change that and you'll see the positions and distance

This is so much fun! And looks amazing on Ultra with HDR and all. Im not the best at the game at all, but I do enjoy running with 0 assists (I think I do have ABS on) But no race lines, I also play (for now the controller) with manuel gears w/clutch. Difficult but fun, feels like you need that clutes for sooooo looong with each shift! I will get used to it i think. AI is now set to 4 or 5 as I get ued to the track and controles, and then its a god challenge to get to top 3 - Game is AMAZING! - Dont get the haters, but I guess that getes more views??? BTW Go to car befor each race and set your fuel, you dont need all the fuel they give you when the race is only 4-6 laps - Go Go Go!!!

Scott with the corkscrew at Laguna seca always be on the brakes early and be patient on the gas. I typically wait till the cars settled in the dip at the bottom before hitting the gas again otherwise it will run you wide 😂

Maybe not necessarily a story. But the career mode really needs a major overhaul. It's quite audacious that Microsoft wants to sell it to us as new.

So shockingly surprising that FORZA MOTORSPORT 8 (2023) became suddenly being this good. Me, Coco Hayashi, Setsuna Yuki and Ayumu Uehara and Shioriko Uehara all love this game despite its online only for even career mode.
Pro tip, you can't late brake going into the corkscrew in Laguna Seca, you will do better to brake early to control the corner.
Agree. Braking late will send you into tire walls instead.

AI is aggressive as hell in this game. Like they're seeking out contact. It's almost like being on the road in my hometown
MS7, Completed the carer mode, except the sebring endurance. On motorsport, Ive had 1 or 2 online races, but im trying to complete the career mode first. And im really enjoying it. No assists, except auto and abs as im on controller, and difficulty is on 5 but im moving upto 6 as now im used to it, i think i can do a little harder. Dont think ill ever make level 7 or 8 though 😅

One thing I find strange for this 'simulation' game is that it doesn't seem to have real names instead of 'user names'. I guess I am fussy in that I can't feel immersed when all the race results are just 'user' names. (unless you were playing online), as I don't have the game. If single player does have character creation then I take back my comment......lol.

try the mustang with traction off and see you can achieve the targer time on 1st lap.
I find that installing Anti-Roll Bars on cars that have poor handling helps a lot personally and bigger front tires for more grip in curves.
Anti roll, but on most cars so far, more so the mx5, 1 size larger on the rear and lower and stiffer suspension works wonders.

@PromethorYT I'm quite enjoying it if im honest. The upgrade path is a little wonky, but, kinda makes sense.
Mugello isn‘t the ferrari track, the ferrari track is at thier factory and called pista di fiorano.
And the other track they show of some f1 cars is imola, also a track more or less from ferrari.
Mugello is a famous motorcycle racetrack aaaaand hosted f1 races during covid.

This game gives me vibes or Project Cars 3 with rewind and stuff. Plus the UI looks very similar.
If you want information go to hud and turn on mini leaderboard. It will show you how far you are from the car infront and behind and give you info on the race leader also

I just started playing this game today after buying the premium add ons bundle, and it’s amazing. The physics are phenomenal, and I have no clue why there were so many bad reviews. If you’re questioning whether you want to get this game. I would 110% get it. It’s amazing. Super worth it.

Looks really good but I have concerns about the upgrade system, so I'm giving it a month on GamePass first. It'll be nice to have custom races on any track, time and weather.
Question: With the new upgrade system, are downloadable tunes still a thing? Have they said?
Other people may have mentioned this, but you can adjust how much fuel you start these races with. You’re carrying like 8 more laps worth of fuel than you need. Curious how much quicker and more nimble it would be if you ran it lighter.
haha i always put 4 laps lower side 5 laps of fuel
Might be easier with the wheel and pedals, seem to be using the accelorator and brake like a switch, either on or off, ease into the acceleration especially through corners and you won't be slowed down by traction control
Trust me Scott Kyalami Circuit is no joke, very tricky that one
I want to see more of this game for sure.
Side note riot when driving mussle cars keep in mind you need too feather the Brake/Throttle and i don't mean the stop start approach you been doing.
Just slowly increase or decrease the pressure on the triggers in the corners and you will do allot better 👍
Well increasing the pressure on front may seem alleviate this.

I’m very excited for this game
I really love the game so far. But I do hope they update a few things that I'm having a hard time accepting with the game;
1- The AI won't even try to avoid collision or let you pass them in any way. They will headbutt each other, yourself and go off track. You are the one that needs to be extremely careful and expect the AI to brake when it should not for example.
2- The sound effects for rolling a bit off track and collision sound effects feel like they came strait out of a B movie.
They are awful, so much so I do my absolute best not to it the sides of the roads not because I want to get better, but so I don't hear that sound.
3- So my 3070 might be borderline almost too old for this game, in any case don't even try raytracing with this card but what surprised me the most is that DLSS gives but a minimal performance gain. Most other games, if I turn on DLSS I almost double the frames. Not with this game. I played with the Benchmark for about an hour and almost no matter the settings the DLSS quality, the performance gain is always minimal. I don't know if I have a bottle neck I'm unaware off but the AI rendering won't help you much if you have an older system.
Other than that, I'm having fun with the game.

Me and Coco Hayashi love this Forza Motorsport 8 despite it can be quite aggravating at times.
Looks stunning if i had a steering wheel and a 4090 to be able to play this in 4k and raytracing all in ultra settings i buy this
Tbh it dosen‘t feels really good on a wheel… soo just stick to a xbox or pc and a controller.
I am no good with controller maybe wait for a patch to see if they address the problem but then again that all depends on what type or steering wheel you have as that plays apart with handling some plays better on other setup's

Thats what i was thinking. I hope the career mod is good, because i don‘t really care about another casual online racer like gran turismo. (I know why they trying to make a game like this, the xbox just don‘t have any sort of game in this direction) i have iracing acc etc. on the pc.
So i just wanna have a cool career mod, because we didn‘t get one in the last few year.
But for what i saw in the official showcase, and so far on youtube don‘t really catches me.
Also the driving with a wheel looks pretty dang off. I know, its a game made for controller, as we see here, but yeah. You should be able to get both things right.
I‘m just happy for the gamepass, so i don‘t have to buy the game, to see if i‘m right with what i saw and said so far or not.
From what I've seen so far, the career mode is largely structured the same as in the previous games. At least as far as Motorsport 5-7 is concerned. I can't say anything about the older games. It's a shame that we single players have been so neglected in recent years.

I literally cannot afford any cars for the other career modes. I don’t understand how they expect me to afford a car for the next thing when they only gave me like $30,000 which I obviously spent on upgrading the first car they gave me so now I can’t do anything I’m so frustrated

Sooo to max a car out, as far as i know, you have to drive it for 5 to 10 hours.
Its funny because in Need for Speed Payback, they tried a system pretty close to this. And not many people liked it.
But somehow, they believe its a good idea to make a career mod, without real championships, put alot of trackdays with different car typs/levels. They talked about a carpg.
So a rpg but with cars…
@@philipkalin1928 Forza franchise has always been about driving hundreds of cars lol it doesn't make sense. If you drive a new car everyday from current roster, it'd take 1.5years!
@@philipkalin1928 This is what Turn10 means by progression. I would have been satisfied if the game had stopped tossing presents around. In addition, a proper overhaul of the career mode and I would have liked to see the brand affinity again. So to speak, the feeling that I had earned my favourite car instead of having it more or less handed to me on a silver platter.
This looks great, but Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox One X looks just as good as this one, for those who are not ready to go completely next gen.

you should've chosen the civic or wrx instead. you know for sure that muscle cars are heavy and have poor handling

The ffb is very off, and it feels strange in general.

The poor part is you get a penalty and then a but later the AI car takes you out and sends you into tires but they didnt get a penalty.
