I actually think Kyle makes a good point, you need to incentivise the police departments to hire good, qualified cops and not just every high school reject desperate for any amount of power

@Cereal Spiller I'm from the UK last year alone we prosecuted several police officers for that crime. It's a thing. They are peados it attracts that kind of person.
Was it racist? Nah. Was it something that we should expect an officer with her level of experience to never do? Yes. She was in the wrong because she made a horrible mistake. One that should never happen. Also, never, ever resist detainment or arrest. If you think an officer is in the wrong, fight them with lawyers and in the courts. You’ll lose in the streets.

Don’t forget she was a field training officer for the department
Jesus..
Yeah and she was a cop for like 30 years. Unless she's been behind a desk the whole time, I'd wonder if she had a mini-stroke or something lol
Woody must’ve give the most charitable rendition of that attempted arrest I’ve ever heard. LOL The resisting arrest was more like a six or seven on the scale.
Because he purposely omitted the fact that the guy was outside of his car actively being handcuffed before he broke loose and got back into his car.
@@-WhiskeyAndSteel- If you watch closely, the male officer has a handle on him; the female then grabs the suspect's right arm, the male officer assumes she has a grip on him and goes for the left arm of the suspect. He then rips free from the female officer. None of this would have happened if she wasn't tasked with restraining him initially.
Yeah they had pulled the guy out of his car, were in the process of cuffing him, the male officer can be heard saying “don’t try anything bro, I can feel you tensing up” at which point he gives control to the female officer, and he takes the opportunity to jump back in his car. They fight with him, she pulls her gun and yells TAZER TAZER TAZER and shoots him. Had she yelled “I WILL FUCKING SHOOT YOU” (or something like that) it would have been 100% justified, because you have no idea what he has access to in his car.

So my local college also hosts the police academy. I can verify that they are trained to yell stop resisting while they hit you with batons.
I graduated with honors from the criminal justice program....I got to see the recruits every day from day one.
To be fair cops do not want you getting back in your car while being detained due to access to weapons or using the vehicle as a weapon, getting back in the car is higher than a mild resistance, she still fucked up big time.
Him driving away after being shot tells me that he had the vehicle in drive before being shot, he was attempting to flee.
Thank you. Most accurate description out there.
@Tim Pape it is when cops are actively trying to handcuff you.
@Tim Pape its a traffic stop, your car shouldnt be on drive
@Tim Pape but your saying your car can be in drive during a traffic stop when it cannot, if an officer sees your gear in drive he’s gunna tell you to turn off the car or change that
@Tim Pape he’s also leaning against the back door of his car before he chooses to jump back into the drivers seat,
no guns no tasters had been drawn
He was told he had a warrant for his arrest and he didn’t want to be arrested

AK Jesus?????
TASER TASER *wink wink*
The 70 year old had a fucking revolver, too.
On the reserve officer incident, he was an honarary officer because he donated so much to the police station
I think the explaination given by woody was a bit wrong. The guy was about to get cuffed outside of his car with little trouble, he then dove back into his car presumably to get away and then things went more hands on with all three officers involved that’s when the cop shot the kid unintentionally/negligently.
You’re right, gun wasn’t drawn when he made the decision to try and escape.
wasn’t afraid of being shot, he was afraid of being arrested
Don’t call him a kid he’s an adult.
Good god, woody’s “caffeine” brows...
He has ticks
@@morganfreeman5260 I hope he doesn't get Lyme disease
Anyone who played saints row as a kid knew the difference between a taser gun and a glock..
That play by play os really not the most acurate, wouldn't say he was kind of resisting. The guy was very wildly trying to get in his car to speed off and escape. Not just begrudgingly trying to sit down.
Ayyy what up Brandon!!!
woody being a huge boomer and saying hes just half wrong at least is a very safe assumption
I cant stop watching Woody's eyebrows spazzing out lol...
Leave Woody alone he has ticks
When woody thinks he’s wrong half the time for having the correct opinion 😬big oof for him actually believing that lol
More like 10% of the time, Woody might actually have a stance that makes sense.
Last i checked “mildly not complying “ is still not complying ...
Last I checked, that doesn't mean they deserve to die.
There's a difference between lightly slipping out of a hold and actively fighting
Last time I checked not complying with an officer doesn’t warrant a death sentence.
This was the best episode of PKA 😂
19:09 --His name was Daniel Shaver and it was in Arizona. If you want to feel sick to your stomach, maybe cry a little bit, and get really pissed off, watch the whole bodycam video. Guy was not a threat in the slightest and was obviously absolutely terrified. The instructions the cop was screaming at him are hard to make sense of and follow even if you're sober. After doing his best to play the demented game of twister in the hallway he reflexively goes to pull up his gym shorts and the cop lights him up.
Ryan Whitaker's shooting was some bullshit too.
eh, the thing is that the dude *is* resisting arrest, has said warrant for his arrest, and *is* attempting to escape with is vehicle. Definitely justifies a taze.
@@rawrmcsaurs6052 Agreed, resisting (even at a "3 out of 10" as Woody gauges it) gives her the chance to f up, but what does that have to do with my comment? Wasn't referring to Daunte here...
@@AJPM802 oh shit my bad

Woodys talking about the young guy at the subway with his friends watching
Taylor is drinking invisibile water
Woody is talking bout Oscar grant mid way through
Lack of training leads to this shit, for someone to be in that job should not be that paniced and stressed in situations like that
Good..........good
Oscar Grant was handcuffed and face down whenever he was shot in the back, that officer got off.
I think involuntary manslaughter would be a better charge because she didn't meant to shoot him with a glock so she didn't consciously take his life if we're to believe what she said either way she did kill someone whether it was by accident or not she still deserves to be jailed for her crime
Lol you don't need to be THAT compliant
You know
I get it tho man
I'm pretty FAIRLY compliant myself when I get pulled over and whatnot
I think becoming a cop even though you clearly are incapable is intentional enough especially going out on patrol

hmmmmm can a dwarf shoot a gun ? i dont know ty for that though
The kid was out of his car being cuffed, then jumped back into the front seat and tried to drive away
I’m suprised Kyle things people carry with safety on. 99 percent don’t.
He’s talking about the taser, not the glock
Imagine having the ability to have watched the video, and still being that wrong about what happened when you describe it.
Yell*
If only there wasnt people with warrents resisting arrest. He placed yourself into a bad situation, that caused the cops to have to take measures against him.
Should he be shot? NO of course not. But he shouldnt be resisting arrest in the first place, much less jumping into his car. If you want to get shot, that is how you get shot. Now the dude deosnt even have the chance to serve time for his crimes.
also to note, i might not seem a tense situation, but it definitely is for the cops.
A man entering his car might very well mean that he is reaching for a weapon and the bloke has a history of carrying one *illegally*. This is the reason why all the cops are "panicking" trying to pull the dude out.
Of course, rationally you can tell a glock from a taser, but under the heat of the situation while tugging on a dude who might very well be trying to end your life? I think rationality is already out of the window and into the shitters.
Yes she messed up but just imagine to think this wouldn’t have even happen if the kid just listen and cooperated and not resist...
Imagine if the officer was properly trained
Yea resisting shouldn't result in a death sentence though
Dont know how the bloke *corporating* would of changed the situation at all. 😂
how are you unironically this stupid????????????????

Guys, please watch Officer401s video on this. I believe form an unbiased standpoint he is 110% right.
I'm gonna watch it to form my own opinion on it, but officer401 is a cop. So how is it unbiased?
@@Bigbilly-ms9bn it takes a pot to call a kettle black
@Scott Hall said I would watch his video and I did. He did a good job. I've always liked officer401 while not agreeing with everything he says. Alot of people suggest an " unbiased view " and then tag someone like officer tatum, who is probably one of the most biased person I've seen. I just wanted to make my mind up for myself on it.
Woody is wrong
Very contraversial to be discussing this so open on YT tbh but I guess this is what you guys have been doing for years, I would say though surprised Taylor hasn't even gone to look at the footage himself rather than listening to other people's accounts but Woody's take about female physical ability etc is a bit sexist, it is a good point that maybe that was all she could bring to the situation there but let's keep it based on actions and their rationale rather than indirectly insulting the female part of the police force and other demanding services to protect your country
tbh that woman shouldnt have been a cop. maybe she was fine when she first joined, but, regular training, mental testing, and just common sense, would have prevented this, you dont mistake a fully loaded glock with a taser without having some type of mental issue, or you dont train enough to know the difference between the 2. either way, she should get charged with some time of "ended in death" crime, i.e. murder, manslaughter, ect.
What the fuck was 5:40
The fact police officers are allowed to walk around with a round chambered is stupid, if there was no round already chambered she would've realised pretty quickly that it's no taser
You're dumb as absolute shit. Like literally dumber than someone who resists arrest with 3 cops near you.
Woody shutting Taylor down was too fucking funny. He’s always in a rush to get his word out good god
we are talking physical not mental. looooooool
The police need to relax a bit man

He was getting back in the car to drive away and flee. That is not “mildly not complying”.
Police aren't supposed to be the executioner. And as Woody stated, the other officers could have handled that situation. She added nothing but trouble to the situation.
@@Bigbilly-ms9bn Didn’t say anything about that. However I won’t downplay what this shitbag was doing. Whether she shot him or not, his ass was driving away because he had a felony warrant.
We didn’t lose an angel.
@@g.i_xciv so everyone with warrants out for their arrests should be killed... right?
@@g.i_xciv What happened to innocent until proven guilty? You’re literally disrespecting a dead man who can’t even defend himself. Now there is a child without a father and a mother without her son because a cop decided to be judge jury and executioner.
@@kash125 Trust me, the child was without a father anyway.
Kyle makes a great point at 16:30. Not to take things in a political direction, but the first item on the agenda for police reform, agreed to by all sides, is a huge boost in pay for police officers. It's the rare point of unanimous agreement.
Doesn't seem like you guys thought this through. The X26 Taser does feel and look like a Glock 19, at least on the back end. Yes it does have a manual safety on the side of the slide towards the rear. If she thought she was holding the Taser, she probably (stupidly) applied pressure to the trigger thinking the manual safety was engaged. Thus the negligent discharge. Yeah it's extremely stupid but this mistake is easier to make than it's been portrayed.
It’s not a physical problem it’s a mental problem
I’d encourage everyone to watch Sam Hyde’s video on female cops. If this doesn’t redpill you on women nothing else will
