  • Moalboal is one of the best places in the Philippines to learn to freedive, so since I was passing through on my backpacking adventure, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to learn about this sport which has been on my bucket list for a while now!

Just found your channel and love your videos! I’ve done a couple of free diving courses and I always tell people it’s not holding your breath that’s the problem, but equalising! I struggled SO much with my sinuses too and swimming deep upside down was a real challenge for me. At one point I remember going back to shore and crying at the frustration I felt. Freediving is a real discipline and just takes practice, practice, practice. You did amazing on your first go and just keep doing it as much as you can! Looking forward to following the rest of your travels x

Clicked as soon as I read Moalboal. Everyone who wants to travel in Moalboal should know that if you want to see sardines, Panagsama is the best place but if you want to see colorful corals, Basdako or also called White Beach is the place you should go. It's also nice to go to Pescador Island, lots of colorful corals and marine life but be cautious of the very stong underwater current there.
