it was pretty breezy here in yorkshire, heard Blackpool took a bit of a beating on the front. brings back childhood memories before they re did the promenade lol waking up to sand and bulbs everywhere
I'm shorts & a single t-shirt with an open, red long sleeved huddy never zipped up. This is heaven to me, at nearly 45 I haven't worn a coat since I was 14 haha. Love wind, rain storms.

We arrived in Blackpool this afternoon, and got drenched walking back from Coral Island. The police closed the Prom, and the Dungeon building looked a bit battered. Congratulations on your milestone 😊

That is my best memories of Blackpool, I love raging seas and storms I remember seeing a wave hit the sea wall near the tower and the peak of the wave hit the top of the old footbridge that used to be there, can't wait to be living there to watch them again. Get myself a burger from your mates place , a bag of hot donuts and enjoy the weather 😂

My kind of weather, you know I love it when it's wet, wild & windy. Exceptional footage, I really wish I had been with you. I see there are a couple of negative comments (quelle surprise) about you being by the sea wall etc. Presumably these people are not familiar with your work. 1000 videos Wowsers!!! Brave you walking out in the Wild Side of the country. I have stayed indoors today. Thankfully I didn't have to go anywhere. Opened the back door and loads of leaves blew in but had to get my bin that had just been emptied and most of them were on their sides and moving around. I'm exhausted just listening to that wind and watching items flying up into the sky. Anyway thanks for the update and stay safe. 👍

I stayed at the Hotel Boulevard Sunday night, had a lovely walk along the front at midnight, empty and quiet. Woke up Monday morning to a dark and angry sea! It was quite something.!!

My first visit to Blackpool sept 1979 the waves crossed the promenade to the other side of the road and washed over parked cars nearly taking me off my feet still had a great holiday hi from Belfast Ireland

Thank you for braving that weather Stephen, been up there in similar conditions and could hardly stand up. I think it was that bad they closed the piers down and stopped the trams. Got to say though never seen it like that.

It looks like the starflyer that usually goes to blackpool is at the edinburgh christmas markets this year. Probably because they can charge a tenner a pop on it there.
I'm wondering if the model we have this year has a smaller footprint because it's in a different position to last year, when it kind of blocked the ramp down onto the sea wall.

Thanks, the mic didn't do too bad a job, but I was disappointed that it was breaking up. It's a Shure model, who are supposed to make the best quality mics.

Years ago we used to listen to the shipping forecast and it used to warn us people on the coast's of storm force winds and we used to think 'Oh it's going to be a bit windy tonight better tie the dustbin down' , now it's STORM DEBI , STORM FRED , whipping us all into a frenzy ,I panic now even though in Cornwall we have had our fair share of giant storms over the years, thank you for the tour again,you are going to have to get some windscreen wipers on your glasses 😂 Take care ☺

Stephen Thankyou for a great video. The sea has now boundaries. I love the sea in all its seasons. Certainly cleaning the windswept walk ways. That was really very good. Here in Australia the heat is on here, the humidity here today has been awful. I like the cold better. I certainly came to the wrong place over 40 years ago didn’t I. Haven’t seen snow for over 40 years. The homesickness never leaves you especially when you see the countryside. So Thankyou Stephen for a cool,video. And I mean cool. Bye for now. 😊
