The biggest mistake of those founding fathers was not redrawing the boundaries to enclose all tribes who are of the same ethnicity or nation in one nation was the biggest of all time if they had done the above,
      1: tribalism will be elimited
2: good leaders will be numerous , becaus their will be a lot of patriots because patriotism is born out of a nation and a nation is born out of a people who have agreed on one ideology or laws to govern themselves as the foundation of that nation. But all countries in Africa aren't a nation becsuse they all have no foundation the only foundation they have is the colonial foundation layed in Berlin, and it's not right to call those men who gave us independence as our founding fathers the men who are the true founding fathers of african countries were the men who founded them at the Berlin conference if then our independence fighters had redrawn the boundaries to suit all nations in Africa they would have be the founding fathers of these nations, just like American founding fathers redrew their own boundaries after independence from Britain.
3: redrawing the boundaries would have eliminated neo colonialism because France won't feel entitled to French speaking countries to control and the british won't feel entitled to nigeria that they still get 48% of all if it's resources for free.

Our African leaders have failed us miserably in all aspects of development. As we can see, our government doesn’t have any vision about ourselves, because they just busy accumulating wealth, considering their cohorts and tribes, instead of bringing all tribes through inclusion by setting up structures for national (s) building. I do wander why some of these politicians who probably completed their education abroad, seeing the setups of institutions that are capable of serving their own citizens. Pro. Lumumba is in the frontline to bring all African leaders to form one African agenda that will benefit us through making decisions for ourselves, other than being a traitor to our great continent. What’s wrong with our leaders? They’re acting a sellout of our great nations. Wake up Africa, it’s time to rise up to excellence.

  • @KwekuSintim

This Prof can really speak a lot of wisdom and very sweet when listening but how to apply it is what he cannot explain.
We speak of our independence as if it means living in an island where we don’t need anyone. The Western world needs us as much as Africa needs them.
We talk a lot against our Colonial Masters as if they are our problem. Our problem is our mindset and it is only when we change our set that Africa will be truly independence.
My first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah saying that:
“Our Independence is meaningless until it is link to the total liberation of Africa Unity”
As that speech of Nkrumah stands, to me it has not really addressed Africa problem because uniting Africa without changing mindset is not helpful enough. I will therefore change Nkrumah’s saying and put it this way:
“ The independente of Ghana is meaningless until it is link to the total change in our mindset”
Africa Unity will come when we have done whatever we needed to do as a nation, which I call First Things First. Independence must reflect in the lives of citizens so that the nation is not burdened. Again as a nation, we need to work on ourselves as we unite our citizens before talking about our unity among Africa nations.

Unbelievable oratory; simply superb and fascinating. Not a single word spoken which was not relevant.
Now I believe that with such people around, Africa will become a superpower.
