What's your take on church trac software, would you recommend it for someone with no accounting or spread sheet or Microsoft experience? Could you recommend where to get started as a newbie to the world of accounting / treasure.
I like the price! I have not used Church Trac, Michele. I watched a couple of videos on it and visited their website. It looks user friendly. I usually recommend QuickBooks Online but it can be a little complicated to get setup. It doesn't look like Church Trac does payroll so you would either have to do payroll manually or through a 3rd party. My unofficial recommendation...I think Church Trak would work well for new treasurer of a small to medium-sized church. With the fund accounting, it looks like it could get complicated the larger the church is. They do seem to have some good training videos as well on their channel: www.youtube.com/@ChurchTracSoftware
