Absolutely. I'd give an arm to pay such a reasonable rate. A small 2bdrm apartment here in Florida will go for at least $2200.00 usd per month. Jeeezzz... I'd love to live in a nice place for such a reasonable amount

Look, people have mortgages to pay and to go one month without paying the bank does not care. Landlords need to know they wont have any problems concerning monthly rent with you. Many persons say yes they can afford it and by the fifth month the rent stop pay and all sorts of excuses pouring in. Landlords cant take the risk! The bad ones make it hard for good people.

Oh gee. I can retire here. that's around $260 US/ m. I really have to think about this because I currently live in the US but my Princess lives in May Pen Ja. I'm looking to get her here but senior covid nah cooperate right now.
That's what I'm thinking...instead of paying hotel on vacation I could rent that all year and go back and forth and still come out way cheaper.

I had big dreams once of going back home to Jamaica after my kids were grown and build a nice mansion
My father is a builder and other cousins
When I became disabled those dreams died of returning to Jamaica
My prescription bills for 2020 was 13,000 usa,my Doctor bills can buy a home
But who knows maybe I can live in Jamaica for two months.
You may not have all the material things you need and want but remember you have good health and still has life
Cost might be lower in Jamaica for the same prescriptions. I send a prayer.

Rent is too expensive in Jamaica especially when minimum rage is barely $50 USD per week. That rental property is a reasonable price. It is not cheap. It is aligned with the economy, like most rental properties should be.
They price Kingston like it's the manhattan of Jamaica when in reality most people working in Jamaica gettting paid jack shit hahha.

That rental in old harbor would be nicer with that wall between the kitchen & living be removed, creating a more open concept area, the wall has created a limitation on furniture arrangement
