    Obviously a classic in the world of metal. Getting this note for note at the end was definitely a challenge, and if you're trying to learn this I actually wouldn't recommend it. Just aim for something creative and musically 'relevant' with that outro. You should have plenty of ideas if you reference the intro and middle section.

    Love how he made it still sound good with such a small drum kit instead of the 9 piece double bass kit Lars used when they created this song.

    This is another great video. The transciptions are really clear. I'm not very observant though...I've watch a few of your videos and I've only just noticed you only have one tom at the top. It sounds just as good with those tom beats on one tom than over two! I'm really glad I discovered your site. Thanks again.

      Thanks Suzanne! Smaller kit = less to carry ;)

    That was soo good! Any chance you could make a proper drum lesson for it? Some parts are quite tricky.

      Good idea! Which parts were you finding most challenging?

    • @Segrey
      @Segrey Před 2 lety

      @@DG-Drums I'd say chorus (at 1:50) with constantly changing stuff, and the part during solo (3:33) seem most challenging.
      Also, could you explain what you're doing with the left foot there (1:08 for example) on the pedal? Just a newbie here with e-drums, so not sure.
      Thanks!

      @@Segrey Cool man, I'll try and get a more detailed lesson sorted for you. As for the left foot, that's easy...nothing! It's just mindlessly bouncing but not producing any sound :)

      @@DG-Drums Thank you so much, I appreciate that!
      And oh well, my initial guess about the foot was right. 😁

      @@Segrey well the challenging part on this song is the wierd placement of the crash note
