Well guess what you can't really use a recorded confession in court because the judge doesn't know how that confession on tape was detained. Could haven a forced confession to a judge which could lead to a mistral

I'm glad the truth came out, I think Arron learn from it and Amy has learn to never let your guard down. At least Amy feels a bit tiny bit better to know that truth is out!!

This is such a terrible way to end this storyline. The writers could have done a better job.

I don't think it'll end there. Josh left then came back a year later and was sent down eventually. I think something similar could happen with this storyline.

Wtf he gets away with it? How does this give the confidence to people to report rape? Showing they get away with it
punishing him would just be hypocritical since they have literal murderers roaming free in the show.
Because if you follow the story from the beginning the two main reasons the police couldn’t prosecute was the delay in reporting, thus losing any DNA evidence against Aaron, and her continuing to socialise with him after the event, so the message is report as soon as possible because, when there are no witnesses, DNA is the only hope. However I think people are misreading the message, as Elle has said in interviews they were also trying to warn about the dangers of binge drinking and what can happen when you lose control through drugs or alcohol.
@@ythomitnellum How would DNA prove rape? It’d prove intercourse but unless there’s a way to also determine Amy was unconscious for sure I don’t see how it can be justified to prosecute.
Aaron has to live with knowing what he did and that's the best consequence of all!

This storyline was really not done justice on the blurred lines of what is consent. Because I truly felt really sympathy for Aaron at moments. and it was a horrible thing that happened but it was very unclear and even on social media a lot of people didn't understand. And I don't think I could label him a rapist
Aaron admits "he took off her knickers" and that she was passed out. Seems to me he raped her.
You feel sorry that he toom her nickers off and raped her wile she was unconscious and without asking for consent.....
