As an student who wants to pursue engineering, Its good to see two grown men with engineering degrees give up when math is on the table.
yeah, but you need the degree first before you can give up on it
im a computer science major. now working for a large tech company. i have a friend who was a physics major. Just a few weeks ago, I was talking to him and math came up and both of us were like "lol i have no idea how we did that"
I have a comp sci degree and the biggest thing keeping me from going for a masters is I dont want to do calc 3

My father was a civil engineer. I'd ask him for math help occasionally. He would get frustrated about my homework being "new math." I didn't understand how math could be old or new. Numbers are numbers. However, I understand his comments when I see how kids are taught math today.
