I think the blood ore you saw was ruby ore I think, ruby ore was supposed to be the currency for villagers but Notch said it looks like redstone so they removed it and is now the emerald.

I can explain that.
In VERY old versions of minecraft (the first few ones), there was a ruby ore.
I am not kidding. I have seen it in other videos.
The ruby ore and ruby block was replaced by emeralds.
I have seen a youtuber explain it (Eystreem or Shark.)
It was glitching because these seeds have some weird code put into them.
The code caused it to go into an old seed for a couple seconds and then when you look away, it turns back into the seed.
Eystreem and shark are fake but I respect shark ey is so cringy and fake
