I do the same thing with the batteries...
Just last week i needed a bat for a project so i bought a new one for the wife's Toyota and used the old one for my project. Did the same thing with my boat not too long ago I thought it was time to put a new one even though it was still good I bought a brand new one for the truck put the truck battery in the boat now that's recycling

If you reduced your spray line down from 3/4 to 1/2 it probably would have gave you better PSI, most soft wash system go 3/4 from tank to pump, them 1/2 out of pump to gun for better pressure, unless it's a really big pump like a air diagram pump, then you go bigger!

Man I have that same pump and I can't get it to pull water for anything. Does it have to be down hill from the water source or what? I mean I runs but just it doesn't pull any water. What am i doing wrong

I would liked to have seen the difference in the spray.

Will this work with a 3500 psi power washer or buy a bigger pump ?

It’s not the psi that’s a concern, it’s the water flow…think about it.

Would this be a good pump for me to use if I want to use it as a camping shower? Im concerned about hurting the pump if I stop the water with the shower head valve to shampoo or conserve water if I’m pulling from a jerrycan

You won't hurt this pump, I've used it on Several projects and have even run it dry a few times,,, it comes with a replacement rubber impeller which I've ordered a few extra from harbor freight and the were Very cheap to buy

It's a Great pump you won't hurt it at all, on my spray rig I use the sprayer on and off alot, I've used this pump in very muddy water, and to pump my pool cover off all winter

  • @tee-fullcleaningmobiledeta2939

How long did that pump last?

Harbor freight pump is still running, I was hoping for more volume and a wider spray pattern, but in the real world it didn't, I put the original pump back on the sprayer, I use the harbor freight pump for my pool cover and it's fantastic for that, hi volume yet low pressure, I did buy extra implellers from hf for really short money, I've used that pump on dozen projects from fuel transfer to light oil to the pool cover, thanks George

No it does Not have auto off or even a manual switch,

For mine, I bought an inline on-off switch. Cable tied the connectors so they'd always stay on. It was very necessary to me. Can't always run to the power source to pull a plug when I need to carefully drain a tank.

Good idea, you should always have way to kill the power Quickly and Easily, I do use the inline switch on mine, in fact I should have sprayed yesterday after mowing, thanks for you comment and watching🙂
