Is it actually beneficial to have more than one character instead of just changing class on one character?

Some ppl use alts to "farm" platinum by selling normal gems, legendary gems, and now pets to their main and vice-versa. Is usually done on different accounts to avoid bans, but with the random bans of blizzard sometimes, wouldn't recommend it. That being said though, guess more of a personal preference as you can class change fast now and unlock essences and keep your high lvl gems.

@@skyreign Oh ok, I'll just stick to one character then. I'm only like 165 paragon level anyways, so I'm still very early game.
