- ✑ I always liked visiting the stone circle on the hill above our village. Something was calling to me from that place. As soon as I stood within the stones I felt at peace. Something was holding me there, a sense of belonging and... rightness. Was it magic? Powers long forgotten?

The backstory to Stone Circle ambience
About 15 years ago I visited a stone circle in Peak District as part of a field trip with my class. It wasn't much, as all the stones had already fallen. But once we were within them, it was like we were enchanted. We were suddenly so excited to be there and the teachers couldn't make us leave. Even my skeptical no nonsense friends agreed they felt some kind of energy at the place. Years later I still feel this longing for the place...

I create ambiences with original music. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I sometimes venture into sci-fi, horror, history, or plain (but beautiful) natural settings.
I am heavily inspired by books, as I am a total bookworm, by PC games and DnD which my husband loves and talks about. I love long cross-country hikes, that feel like a huge adventure and you can see it in the number of traveling ambiences I produce 😀

I find myself coming back to this one when something stressful happens. It feels bittersweet but comfortable. Like a childhood blanket.

Just the atmosphere I was looking for. Only recently stumbled upon your work. Already very appreciated. This is another one that can be interpreted through different emotions. It can be melancholy or grateful. A lament or a treasured memory. Perhaps a little of both.

I love when you use wind sounds! Any chance of using thunder sounds without rain and silent music?
That is quite possible, I did that in some of my videos in the past. It's good to know what you like sound-wise, it gives me some idea how to create in the future 😉

@@OnionKween Ou, you were right. I went through the list and realized I used thunder with no rain but no music. Sorry, my bad. :) But it is quite possible I might do something in the future, if it suits the atmosphere ;-)

Uuuu, how did I miss the release of this ambience? Absolutely awesome! I love that the music is not pushed to the foreground as much and it leaves much more space to the grass, wind and some little critters that live around. :D Thank you for the continuous creation of inspiring background music I am always happy to use in DnD or during drawing sessions. :)
