It would be nice if Hasbro did release an updated Gladiator figure.
Fun fact Dan: at the start of this storyline, when the Black Winter appears, they show it attacking a group of unnamed heroes devouring a universe, Donny Cates the writer of Thor comics at the time is having a bit of fun at the start of this story as those heroes are vaguely shown but bare a resemblance to DC’s Justice League.
So…Squadron Supreme?
@@brainlock72 I know what you mean - that the Squadron Supreme are Marvel interpretations of DC characters, however Donny Cates depicts the Black Winter facing off against The Flash, Batman, Superman, Wonderman, but does it extremely subtlety, you don’t actually see the characters, but see these figures charging towards the Black Winter - and the description in the comic text reads - they faced the Black Winter - “a Speeding Flash, a Darkest Knight, an Amazon Princess” that kind of thing
Cable is a must have and wolfsbane but this is my personal favourite of the wave . 🔥
Fantastic review mate. Honestly, this figure is probably the one I’m looking forward to the most out of this wave besides Zabu. There’s just something about the ascetics that’s intriguing me!

8:05 What about Superior Iron Man? You reviewed him and he's part of the wave. Even though he doesn't come with a part of Zabu, I think he deserves to stand with the rest.

I like the look of him but the articulation could stiil be better. In fact they should copy what Jada are doing with their Street Fighter figs. Soft rubbery pieces for some of the costumes, wired fabric cape (M Bison), balljoints at waist and diaphragm. Oh and soft rubber hair pieces. Lighter and better for posing than a chunk of plastic.
This was great reuse and adds to the cosmic display.
Did anybody else think that was a LION head, not a (Sabretooth) tiger head in package?
Can we please get a Battle Cat or Battle LION comparison for Zabu?
I had no idea who this “Shadow Thor” was when announced and…I still don’t. I’d love to get hold of this wave and losing hope on the Void wave, too. OFW. 🤬🖕
I did see Herald Thor turn up in my local Planet Overstock, but passed, despite having picked up enough cheap extras to almost complete Controller. Just when I decide to go back for him…he’s gone. 🤦♂️
No sense grabbing that headless Speedball at Ollie’s or ordering another Quake online, now, huh? I can slap another head on that Controller body with Wendigo/Xemnu arms.
