    Bought a volt light to highlight a Crepe Myrtle tree. Smartest move I’ve ever made. That thing is SOLID and built to LAST. Can’t wait to get more of them.

    I several fat boys and I do agree the bulb will fall over if it’s hit. But, it’s very rare. Volts customer service is A+.

    I was looking into buying one of the VOLT kits on their website but I noticed they all come with the G2 fat boys. Do you recommend just buying everything individually and replacing the fat boys with another VOLT spotlight? If so which one do you recommend?
    Love the videos, keep them coming. It’s nice to see a pro that doesn’t mind sharing knowledge with the DIYer

    What is the difference between Volt lighting and AMP? I see on there website that contractors can become an "AMP" pro to receive wholesale pricing and free shipping. It's it essential the same product, just under a different blanket name for contractors?

    • @frankie53250
      @frankie53250 Před 7 měsíci

      Yes I talked to amp about this actually and it's their sister company so basically same product. Contractors do not get much of a discount though it's pretty small

      Yes they do use the same bulbs. Well at least to my knowledge.

    • @aklighting8292
      @aklighting8292  Před 2 lety +1

      They are almost exactly the same. There are a few differences in some of the lights such as the path lights, slightly cheaper for contractors to use, and there is free shipping.

      I should make a video on that. There are so many companies out there. This will be 100% my opinion and an opinion based on what others have said because I haven't used every lighting company.

    Have you ever used Kichler or FX Luminaire? How do they stack up to Volt? Thanks.

    • @aklighting8292
      @aklighting8292  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey man sorry for the delayed response. I LOVE FX Luminaire products. They last a long time. Kichler has about a 10 year lifespan, and I think they are overpriced. Volt is an excellent lower priced company that offers products that last a pretty long time. FX Luminaire is a high quality and expensive brand that in turn last a LONG time. I've seen RS fixtures installed 25 years ago look new after you wipe the dirt off.
