This video is about fitness edit motivation inspiration and about telling people and how to stay consistent with exercise. Clip from this video: • If Couples Were 100% H...
I get the vibe that she wants him to hit the gym mainly because he's expressing interest in it, not bc she wants his body to change. People generally want to see their partner succeed and reach their goals. He's stating that he wants to have bigger muscles, she's just being supportive. Tbh if he was happy with his body/exercise routine, I doubt she would give the same answer here.
For me it's the reverse. Telling everyone I'm going to the gym actually gives me drive to stay consistent. This is actually the third time I've tried losing weight, but this time I'm telling my friends and family of my plan. Now I can't stop due to the shame if I don't have any progress to show.
Yep, same here. I feel like there's a misconception that you'd only tell someone if you need their encouragement, and I get that it's great to learn to do things without outside encouragement or validation. But wanting to be true to your word is a great motivator, and it's so much easier to give up on a goal when no one else knows you're giving up.
Actually, I've found that when I tell someone that I'm going to do something, I'm way more likely to do it. Is like you put yourself in compromise with someone else that isn't your thoughts.
We all have aspects of things we want to do or stop doing, yet we find ourselves still doing or not doing whatever it is. I was obese growing up, eating bad, playing games all day. Now I'm 30, eat healthy, hit the gym no matter what, and don't play games nearly as much anymore. I couldn't tell you how the shift happened, because when I wanted to do it, I couldn't do it. It just happened. :/
I don't know where I heard that, but someone recommended a ridiculously simple motto for it: Just do it. This short Nike-ahh slogan is so basic yet so powerful. When I been procrastinating something, I simply say "Just do it." and I proceed to do it without letting myself to have a second thought on it.
Didn't that saying come from Shia Labouf before Nike? I remember hearing him say that a long while back when it became a viral video. Could be wrong, but I just had that thought.
I have a general rule that I can only start talking about stuff I'm doing/working on after 3 weeks of doing it If I make it to atleast the 3 week mark then I generally stick with the new habit
0:43 That guy is Ibai Llanos, a spanish influencer that, in fact, have been making shit-tons of videos telling empty promises about lossing weight but never does it because > and his next move is start selling his own brand of crapfood and eating on-live these products.
Forreal. Just like Nike, You just do it. Don't tell anyone anything, Just get on it. The more you say you plan on doing something the less you do it and the more you procrastinate. Telling yourself is hyping up yourself for failure. Also, While I agree us guys must be fit, On the other hand we gotta end obesity and especially for women. Ya'll are not 10s if your looking like a whale. Girls need to stay fit too.
the message of the video is wrong , if you workout it should be for a masculine reason not to get validation from girls or you're girls,,by this logic you're telling single guys to not go to gym
I think you missed the real message. The reason is for stays consistent to the own words and it's pointing out that the guy is already getting validation by tell the thing to others instead of for profit results doing the things.
Tbh working out at home with equipments is the best. You don't need any motivation and can directly excercise anytime of the day. Started off with some adjustable dumbbells ordered from online, now after a year I have my own entire gym and haven't taken a single rest day since the past 3-4 months because working out feels so good.
Same here too but I'd say instead of buying equipments at first I'll just start with the calisthenics and eventually start doing small investments in equipments. Because starting with calisthenics gives you more stability and balance.
The greatest way I've found to maintain my motivation: Don't tell people what I'm planning to do until after it's done.
Motivation is shit, just fucking do whatever you know you need to do
@@lvrrylxrd232I'm very sorry for whatever you've gone through for you to be this bitter, I hope it gets better for you bro 🙏🏼
@@michaeltagor4238he is not all wrong, motivation never lasts. You need discipline so you keep doing certain things even if u don't want to
@@lvrrylxrd232 you do need a small baseline of motivation to keep going. Without motivation you wont do anything.
I think I might try that if I can!

Be careful of Jubilee. They might copyright strike you, even when there is fair use.
Why do you think that they will?
@@Arcdelio They recently gave many strikes to youtubers 'Aba and Preach'. Lately, they don't like anyone using their content.
