It’s amazing to see how much they’ve improved since their first reunion show! You can tell the whole band is so much more comfortable together on stage.

I went on the 22nd, so many people (me included) had teary eyes at multiple parts of the show and I was called out for it. I think the reason why it affected so many people was for those few hours people of my generation, and a little bit older, got to return to being dumb teenagers again and before all the crap of the last 5 years or so and before life happened absolutely amazing show.
Exactly, i was there, with my wife, so much have changed in my life and many years have been passed since i was 16 years old listening to mcr every single day, it made me remember and miss my friends and how it was so much more simple, made me look forward aswell, much changed but i’m so happy to see where i am today.
i just got chills reading your comment, couldn't agree more, i'm going to the show next week in germany and everytime i think about it i get excited that i finally get to fulfill my teenage dream.

they brought everything down a half note and it's been with every show including the shrine show; my guess is it's just a safe way to get back into performing live, if he hasn't been singing super high it could be really easy to strain too much and then have a bigger vocal problem and considering how big this tour is i think they're just conserving energy for what's really important

What a deception, not singing the high notes, definitely getting old. So frustrating.
He's rarely ever sung it as high as the recording. Mostly sings it in a lower key
He didnt sing the high notes before the break up either. Most of the songs were played in a lower key as well

this is literally how it's always been???? find a band that has as much vocal layering as mcr and go to their show. they're not gonna have every part and it's easiest as a performer to go for the low note, especially considering half the thing about mcr shows is the fact that the audience will quite frankly cover every vocal part you can imagine. it's not a deception, it's literally what comes with being a musician.

Definitely feels to me the same as the return of Sum 41. Just my opinion though, sorry that you can't accept that everyone opinions is not the same :/
