She didn't exactly quit volleyball. It's just she's no longer needed in the national team. I'm not sure if she still plays in the Chinese Volleyball Super League (it's like NBA but in China and it's volleyball). She became the manager of the team she's been playing for many years.

结果证明郎平教练.眼光毒到.非常专业.帮助国家找到了朱婷.这个世界女排的 mvp,.互相成就.成为中国女排的一段佳话！只能说王一梅不适合郎平的战术体系！郎平在网上曾言.她看到朱婷的比赛.仿佛看到了年轻时的自己！可见这句话从郎平口中说出.对朱婷是一种很高的评价！不过朱婷也真的争气.在场上比赛.球队最困难的时候.总是能挺身而出.定住女排的气运！使得女排总能力挽狂澜.赢的比赛！王一梅.有勇而少谋！球场上最累的是她！可是到了关键时刻.她就会力不从心！不要说郎平.恐怕任何教练重新建立风格.都会不用王一梅！朱婷在场上.技术非常全面.任何球队遇到这种对手.都很难应付！只轮重扣.王一梅有优势.可是若轮能力.朱婷一定胜过王一梅许多！
