I'm so excited! Leaving this week 😍🤗
Thank you man, very informative! The latest advice about reflections on sand is great!
I smiled through the whole video, obrigado Roberto! Since couple of years now I wanted to go RV, hopefully soon I will 🌌♥️🙏🏼
Thank you Roberto. I'm currently training to walk the fisherman's trail. This helps me a lot.
Very useful information. Thank you
Thank you so much, this was the information I was looking for =)
That's lot of good tricks to hike this trail thanks a lot 😉
Thanks for the super video! You gave me more reasons to do this hike. Thinking of doing this trail on January if travel restrictions allow it so glad I heard your perspective on things (including the hiking direction which I didn't think about earlier). Looking forward to seeing your video and what you brought (I also prefer stealth camping with no trace principles).
thank you for time on writing this feedback! I hope things will improve and you are able to come here to do RV. Its beautiful and you can't go wrong. Best way of doing it ✌🏻😉 any question just let me know
Thanks for the video and for the tip to walk from south to the north. We did the trail in February and enjoyed when the sun was behind us, coloring the sea and the cliffs. Much better than facing the sun without the colors. Even though many restaurants were closed until March, we found pretty decent vegan options in most of the restaurants. And yeah, there is lots of loose sand in the trails.. but it was totally worth it !
Thnx a lot! Planning to walk the trail jan/feb this year. Thought it would be nice with sun in my face but your video is making me doubt😁
Thanks Roberto, I walked this trail last September/October. The main problem I had, as a 75 year old was the deep sand trails. Walking in sand for 10-15 kilometres at a time was very tiring for me but the views were spectacular.
Super nice Video! I am really looking forward to follow your example :D
Great guide!
Grazie per il tuo video . Abbiamo fatto la Rota a Luglio e anche in quel periodo non abbiamo incontrato molta gente.
Great tips
Thank you for sharing
it was very helpfull thanks!
Very useful!! Obrigada :)
Great video, excellent advice. Going to try the trail in April. Thanks!
Hi, were you on the trail in April? I am also planning this trail in April 2023. I am curious what the weather was like? I will go from south to north.
@@fotociemnia I only did a short section near Lagos. It was sunny and warm.
Awesome tips, Roberto! I did the RV from Santiago do Cacem to Lagos over Christmas and the weather was perfect. Good advice on the water, I took a filter and didn't use once, unless I had to. Happy trails!
Thank you. Just checked out your channel, world class videos mate. already subscribed 👌
Roberto Neves ahh amazing. Thanks Roberto and likewise. Nice vids and good to see another hiker’s perspective of the RV! All the best 👍👍👍
Thank you! It was very helpfull. I planned to walk the rota vicentina half september. 2021, (if corona is less). 👍
Nice Tips! Vou fazer a RV futuramente, dependendo de quando tudo isto passar. Tenho planeado fazer sectionhiking e deixaste-me com vontade de fazer o thruhiking :) Completely surrounded by nature! Nice Trails!
olá Pedro, é incrível e acho que ambas as opções são validas, you can't get wrong! natureza no seu melhor, vais adorar 😉
Cheers Roberto!
thank you Sir
Brill, thanks.
Thanks a lot
Nice one, Rob! ;-)
thank you 😊
Bom video Roberto! Tenho de fazer isto um dia
Obrigado Tiago!! vale mesmo a pena, é inesquecível ✌️✌️ abraço
Thanks for your post! Did you order the map online or pick it up in Portugal?
thanks for the nice video!
i will do the hike in November and I'm thinking about the boots and trekking poles. what's your opinion? I think my bag will be quite heavy so poles might be still nice to have. I only have proper hiking boots and I'm not sure - do I need lower trail running shoes, or shall I just use my boots.
Thanks Roberto, that's very helpfull. I was already wondering if I should take poles and gaitors with me. So yes !
I'll be going there second half of september for a six day hike. Can't wait.:) No boots needed ? Or are the low shoes good enough ?
absolutely!! you are coming in one of my favourite times of the year in the SW coast!
No need boots, hiking/running shoes I would say thats enough.
Thank you very much for this , I'm thinking of hiking from Lagos to Milfontes and this video helps a lot . Will it be too hot to do this hike in July/August ? I have subscribed to your channel . 😎✌️☘️
Amazing!! Yes that’s beautiful!! But in July and August is very hot, can be challenging. Thank you and happy hikes ✌🏻✌🏻😁
@@RobNeves Super thanks for your reply , have a great Summer ☘😎
Hi, some of the brown circular trails overlapped the blue, didn't you consider going brown and going back to blue? I once saw a movie with RV where hikers walked through fields of cork trees, pastures and by the ocean. Can these attractions also be seen by walking only along the blue trail?
Hi, does anyone know what the situation is with wild camping along this trail now please? I believe it's illegal to wild camp in Portugal now isn't it? Do people still do this or use the campsites instead?
Hi there, can you do the trail on your own or it is better in a group?
is that dechatlon tent?
Are their many people on the trail at the end of September? Im hiking solo and i would like to meet people on the way 😊
great video Roberto thanks for sharing atb dazbass007
How many days are you walking on sand?
Olá Roberto, queres partilhar o material que utilizaste neste hike? ;)
boas caminhadas
Cool Video 👍. Is it easier to get there Gas for a Gas cooker or liquid Spiritus Alcohol) for a Camping cooker. 🏕 So camped 🏕 wild, so you never got a problem there on they way?😊
